We got a bunch of snow dumped on us this weekend. I see lots of snow forts in our future. We’ll definitely be making Snow Ice Cream this week as well.
I’ve been doing more figuring and calculating for our Real Food – Low Cost Challenge over the weekend, the results of which I will share in the next few days. I have really enjoyed learning how much our meals cost! I wanted to let you know that Kacie at Sense to Save has a handy Recipe Cost Calculator that may help you as you calculate the costs of your real food recipes.

So, Laura, you haven’t said … how has all the new insulation been working for you this cold winter? A little more snug this year? Hope so. It sure looks COLD in this picture!
Laura says
You’re right – I haven’t given an update about that! We’ve had an incredibly warm winter, so I’d have to say that it’s been hard to tell up to this point. But yes, this weekend, with the colder temps, the new insulation is keeping us much warmer!

Snow ice cream… well it looks fun! But I’ll take my sunny San Diego, 70 plus degree weather in February any day ;).
Have fun with the snow.

There is a printer friendly button on her recipes.

Yes, look for the green “Print Friendly” button on each post, which will hopefully make it easier for you!

Still praying for snow! After all it IS winter.

We are currently living in the Netherlands and we had our first snow of the season on Friday. We’ve had a week or more of really cold weather and the canals have frozen over, so now the kids want to play on them and go sledding and ice skating :)

I live in Michigan and we are not getting our snow like we used to. I think all year I snowed blow three or four times. Not much. Maybe the snow will reach out us.

Crunchy ranch chicken sounds so yummy! Will you be sharing the recipe sometime?
