Thank you so much for this book. I loved the ideas in it! The only thing I would reccomend is on the clay facial recipe people need to make sure that the essential oils they decide to use need to be skin safe. Maybe this was in the instructions and I missed it. Thanks again, Laura. I visit your site very often!

SO EXCITED!! Made vanilla extract for gifts this year and thought a cookie mix in a jar would be great. Knew you had one somewhere.

Thought I’d offer another suggestion if you decide to revise for any reason.. mini sewing kit–make top a pin cushion, put basci color threads, sone needles, safety pins, mini-scissors, some buttons. Great for college kids or for in the car.

Ball has some very nice plastic jars with green twist on lids that would be great if you had little helpers and didn’t want to worry about jars breaking.
I plan on making some of the jar gifts. Thank you

i have a question about the simmer pot in a jar? if i make these ahead for people, do i need to refrigerate them until i give them the jars or can they be out at room temp?

thanks! got glass jars today at the dollar store for a $1 :)

    Laura Reply:

Great deal on the glass jars! I can’t say for sure, but I think it may be best to store the simmer pots in the fridge until you’re ready to give them/use them.
