We are so blessed right now to be able to spend lots of time with our extended family.
There are kids everywhere. There are toys everywhere. There are aunts and uncles and grandparents and cousins and friends and joy of joys…there are babies. I have taken it upon myself to hold babies whenever “necessary”. Ooh, and I got to brush my six year old niece’s hair for like…ten minutes!! It was so pretty and so fun and she was sweet enough to let me brush and brush and brush. I truly don’t miss having daughters…but it sure is fun to have nieces!
Tonight, we were taken out to The Cheesecake Factory as a Christmas gift. It was wonderful to visit and yeah, the cheesecake wasn’t too bad at all. :)
I hope you’ve been able to spend lots of time with those you love. I’m very thankful to have family to love and spend time with!

Today I’m linking a post from my Simple Living series about Learning from the World Community. By talking with people from other countries, it opens my eyes to what we take for granted.

I got a lot of family time this past month, and I’m grateful for it. My mom passed away this Sunday. It’s still hard to believe, but I’m glad I got to spend a lot of time w/her.

Danielle B. my heart aches for you. I am so sorry for your loss. So thankful you got to spend time with your Mom. Time is our most precious commodity. You used it wisely. May God comfort you with his presence and his peace.

I’m grateful to have had the chance to see my sister and her family, my husband’s brother and his family, especially seeing how our nephew has turned his life around and is doing better. I also got to see a nephew I hadn’t seen in several years. I hope to keep the lines of communication open with him now.

Like every other Mom out there I’m going to say I’m thankful for my family. I feel very blessed to have found a man I can spend my life with who is decent and hardworking. I also feel very blessed to have two adorable, high energy children that keep me on my toes. We have a roof over our heads and my husband has a good job. Who could ask for more?
