I tried this recipe with your spaghetti sauce tip and it was
wonderful! Next time I'm going to make my hubby's side plain without
sauce, but my little one and I really enjoyed it with the sauce!
Thanks for a great recipe!

It has been a better than usual year here for zukes...And in western Washington that is saying something!
Here's a time saver tip: I found using a grapefruit spoon with a serrated tip works great for "gutting" the zucchini.

..I stuff mine loosely with a mixture of the zucchini pulp; raw sausage;chopped onion and garlic; some fine bread crumbs;a sprinkle of italian herbs; a pinch of red pepper flakes and a little parmesan mixed with enough raw egg to hold it together...cover it all with italian sauce, and a sprinkle of crumbled cooked bacon... bake covered until the last 10 minutes when I add mozzarella and more paremesan cheeses to melt...
My family doesn't even notice the zucchini for all the other flavors going on in their mouths....

I LOVE these! I have always added cooked brown rice to the ground beef and then sprinkle with cheese. Thanks for all your wonderful recipes. I just found your website and have been online constantly reading all the recipes. Tried the Creamy Mac and Cheese and the family LOVED it! Thanks! :)

The version I know goes like:

"Boys are made of greasy grimy gopher guts, mutilated monkey meat, chopped up parakeet, french fried eyeballs, swimming in a pool of blood, eat it without a spoon, yum yum!"
