Well Then…Let’s Just Have a Giveaway!

By Laura · Sep,19 2008

Did you know I used to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator?  Yep, I used to sell rubber stamps and accessories like crazy.  About the time I was pregnant with Malachi and beginning to homeschool a little more heavily…I decided to give it up.  But, I still think it’s fun to stamp and make cards and I still have a ton of stamps.  A TON.

While I was cleaning out my guest room/office a while back…I came across a few brand new stamp sets from my saleslady days.  I just don’t need them.  Do you want them?

I thought you might.  So I decided…let’s have a giveaway why don’t we?  Then, you and your family can sit down together this fall and create some wonderful cute cards and gifts to encourage others.  You wanna?

I’ve got two sets here to pick from.

I’ll be randomly drawing two winners on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 5:00 pm Friday at noon, CST.  I’ll let the first person I draw pick out which stamp set she wants, then the second winner can have the remaining set.  Ooh, how fun!

Leave a comment and tell me why you’d like to win these stamp sets.  What kind of ministry might you do with them?  How might you use them to spend time with your children?

I think I’ll pull out some of my other stamp sets now and get busy.  Just looking at these makes me want to create something!

***Thank you all for participating!***

I would love to have these stamps. I am the follow up leader for my Sunday School class and we always try to send a card when someone visits so I would use these for that. I might also use them for MOPS since I’m in charge of the crafts.

  3. I’ve just started my stamping collection… I have only one stampin’ up set, and would love that first set to add to it. I enjoy making cards with other moms as a moms-night-out. We’ve also used stamps in our moms ministry at church… we made stone coasters one year. Also my children enjoy stamping.

I like to use my rubber stamps to make cards for my family and our church people (I’m a pastor’s wife). I also like to make cards for my mom and sister to give to others – to save them money, of course!

I love stamps and I love Stampin’ Up stamps.Thought about becoming a rep…maybe someday. I make cards and take to assisted living homes in our town…we have four.I also sell cards and use the money to help buy food for the homeless ministry my mom cooks for and to help who ever else I can.It is amazing the smiles and encouragement that a card can bring to someone. I am always amazed by how many cards I sale also. God is good :)

  21. Suz says:

These are beautiful! I would love to have a set to make cards with. I make most of the cards I send out and I’m always looking for something new to make them with … I’m getting ready to get our toddler involved in helping. Fun! :)

  22. Richelle F says:

I love to make cards for people, and my son loves to play with my stamps and “help” me.

  23. Hi, I am the mother of one son and five daughters. We have enjoyed stamping though the years, although I have not been to a party in years! We have used and will continue to use our stamping for cards of encouragement and for our Christmas letters. We always enjoy having friends over and stamping gift tags for Christmas gifts every Fall. The girl’s friends enjoy this as well.
I enjoy your site and read it once a week.
It has been a huge canning season for me as well and especially this past week.

  24. Lisa says:

Thanks for all of the neat ideas your share in this little space. I do hope whatever random number drawing you use picks me and my girls! Stamps are so fun, I wish we had more than a couple. For some reason when I get to the store to pick them out there are too many for me to decide and I usually move on without any.

  25. Anna says:

Sounds cool! Count me in:-) I love the ones on the top!

  26. Angela Hinson says:

First, I would use the stamps on the sympathy, think of you, get well, and congratulation cards that I send out.

As for my children and me, we would use them to make home made birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas cards for our family and friends.

  27. Monica says:

Thank you for sharing your life with me. You have encouraged me greatly! And you got me to post.

The gift of stamps would be used at our house first as a birthday gift for our just after Christmas blessing who is turning 8. Then, she could bless others with it. She is the queen of paper projects and she loves to write to people. Gotta go-she and brother #3 just brought in 4 quarts of raspberries and requested jam. Hmm, maybe after the late corn and apples that are waiting.

  28. Helen says:

I love Stampin’ Up sets. Either would be wonderful!

  29. Sallie says:

Either of tThese would come in very handy.

  30. Tiffany says:

    What beautiful stamp sets!
