And now your PRESENT for today!!!
I’ve told you a time or two about one of the tools we use to train our kids in the way of Godliness. We’ve created these Kid’s Character Charts to help us use scripture to encourage Christ’s character in our children’s lives. Each chart has been created with a different focus in mind and each time we use them…we are all blessed.
Your gift today as we continue to celebrate our Website-Aversary….is a FREE Fruit of the Spirit Kid’s Character Chart! Go get yours out of our shop (free until Nov. 13)…then print off as many charts and stickers for your family as you need! Be sure to tell your friends to come get one too! Enjoy!
Before you head off to the shop to get your Fruit of the Spirit Kid Character Chart…I’d love for you to leave a comment here telling me how you think you might use yours after you download it! Or which fruit of the spirit you think your family needs to focus on right now.
C’mon…tell me RIGHT NOW. HURRY UP! WHAT’S TAKING YOU SO LONG? LEAVE ME A COMMENT AND I MEAN NOW! (see…that’s me needing to work on the fruit of the spirit: patience.) Seriously…you’re taking forever.
;)

This is so perfect! Thank you!! We are seeing a huge lack of these characteristics in our five year old son. This will be a fun way to encourage him to love and be gentle and patient with his little sisters. I have been in and out of your blog for a while now. I must say I love it!

This is perfect! We were just discussing fun ways to instill these characters in our son and daughter. Thank you so much!

I am trying to teach my kids about the bible and to be honest it’s hard when your as lost as I am. It can be a bit overwhelming and we are taking baby steps but trying my best to study the bible and learn about God’s love. Wish me luch and prayers are much needed. Thanks for such a great website. angie

Temperance…we can always use a refresher in self-control.
Thank you again for another great give away.

We are actually studying the fruits of the spirit with our kids right now. Talk about great timing:) We are, of course, working on all of the fruits for our whole family; but self-control is a biggie for us. Our 4 year old daughter is struggling with this recently. Thankyou, Laura for offering us this wonderful tool. BTW-I love the ebooks. After I looked at the Cocoa one, I wanted to hug you. Seriously. So, here is a cyber-hug. {{{HUG}}}

THANK YOU! I cut out bowls and fruit and had my kids color them and then we wrote the fruit of the spirit on different pieces of fruit and then we learned (a song) the verse. This will be a perfect follow-up, as I had planned to expand our study so that they would know and understand what it all means. Apparently, I need this too, since one day my daughter said, “Mom, you’re not being very loving today.” YIKES!
We’re having chicken for dinner tonight – I’d better go refer to my copy of “What to do with the Chicken in Your Kitchen.”

I’ve never done a Fruit of the Spirit study with my kids and I’d also like to show this to our homeschool co-op so they can buy them too if they like it. Thanks!

Thank you!! I’ve had my eye on this chore chart in your shop for a while!
I am wanting to do a unit on the Fruit of the Spirit with my daughter, and this will be the perfect way to incorporate it into “real life”!
Oh….and patience is definitely what I struggle with as well!!

Thank you! I’ve wanted to do a study on the fruit of the spirit and this will fit in nicely. I think we need special focus on self-control around here. And patience too. ;-)

I used to belong to a big girl’s group :o)where we encouraged one another to develop the fruits of the Spirit…how nice to now encourage my son! Thank you!

I think using a chart like this with my kindergartener will be priceless. (Kind of like the download.) :) This way she can see how her behavior impacts those around her, how it glorifies God (or doesn’t), etc. It provides a real visual reminder of who God made her to be. Thanks for offering it!

A friend, whose family I highly respect, answered my question of what she would do differently if she had a chance to refine her children’s homeschool. She replied that she would do less academic subject work in favor of more character development. After I picked up my jaw off of the ground (her children are role models to our community), my eyes were opened more to the area of how “purposefully and strongly” we should be training children in the ways God would have us train them.
So, I would be off to train my children and the ones in our children’s church with this wonderful resource. Thank you Laura!

Ohh, thank you!! I imagine we’ll take this and have a family night lesson VERY soon, and then post the trees for our two older children on the wall. I can just see how much nicer our days will go when we’re praising the good behaviors instead of focusing on the bad behaviors. This looks like a magnificent tool, so again, thank you for sharing!

I love your fruit of the spirit chart! I have an almost four year old who can totally get the concept of most of the fruit, so I’m looking forward to using it with him. Thanks for all the fun giveaways and prizes this week and congrats on your website-aversary!

This is great, we’ve been thinking of ways to help instill these in our children so they don’t have to work so hard when they’re our age. This will definitly help.
Thanks!

Thank you very much. My mother is the Sunday School teacher for our church and this will be perfect. Hopefully she’ll enjoy it enough that I will return to purchase others. I am trying to start my own day care and this would be a wonderful learning tool.
