V8 V-Fusion – Great for Kids…and Husbands
This is a compensated review by BlogHer and V8.
The nice people at V8, along with the nice people at Blogher told me they were going to send my family some of their V8 V-Fusion Fruit and Vegetable Juice to try. Mainly, they wanted to see what my kids thought of it.
Kids? They’re lucky they got some at all.
When my husband found out what was coming in the mail, he was very excited. V-8 Fusion just so happens to be his drink of choice when he’s out on the road for soccer games in the fall. When the team stops at a convenience store, he likes to get a little something to drink for the road. BUT, the choices are mainly soda, coffee and well…many forms of high fructose corn syrup in a bottle.
On one of his trips, he saw the V8 V-Fusion in the cooler and read the ingredients. VERY impressive, he thought. So he got one. The taste? Wonderful. Then, he re-read the ingredients, because really? Are you sure there’s no added sugar in these? Sure enough…100% fruit and vegetable juice!
When our box of V8 V-Fusion came in the mail, my husband was oh so kind enough to let all of the rest of us try some (and also he wasn’t home at the time). We received a big bottle of Cranberry-Blackberry juice…a can of Strawberry Banana juice and a can of Pomegranate Blueberry juice.
We began passing around glasses and bottles and cans. It was like one big juice party in the kitchen. We even had juice mustaches. Juice is a special treat around here and everyone was loving these V8 V-Fusion drinks. I am amazed that there are vegetables in this juice. I LOVE that there are vegetables in this juice!

We have tried several of them but our absolute favorite is the Goji Raspberry. My kids guzzle it. I have had all but one small sip. Maybe the next bottle, I’ll be able to get a more than that. :)

I have recently started purchasing these for my kids. I love them as well! So far we have tried the strawberry banana, which is amazing. Also, the blueberry pomegrante is good. I tried the Acai berry one and wasn’t impressed, though my son, who is 3 yrs. didn’t mind it. For this week we have the Mango one to try!

We’ve tried a few different varieties. I think I like the Tropical Mango the best. Although, the Pomegranate Blueberry sounds pretty good. I’m kinda hooked on anything “pomegranate” these days!
