Still trying to figure Twitter out. Actually it’s a bit overwhelming. I joined to help my blog, but not really sure it will help? I find my blog suffers when I spend too much time in other online networks.

I see twitter, I want my blog to grow but with a two year old, a 9 month old, and a million other responsibilities…I hardly have enough time as it is to blog.

Maybe someday I will be happily tweeting away but I was thrilled to read this post and know that I am not the only one not on there!!!!!

I’ve been Twittering lately, but I’m still not sure about it. It definitely distracts me from work during the day. But…it IS kinda fun, too…

I have Twitter. I go through phases of tweeting and not tweeting! lol I found a neat add on for Mozilla Firefox called yoono that actually somehow combines all my chat programs and Twitter, FaceBook, MySpace, AIM, Yahoo Messenger, etc. So I type 1 yes ONE update and it broadcasts to all my chosen applications!! Cool, huh!? It just sits on my sidebar and I can get other peoples tweets & updates without having to go check, it comes to me. (I have it set up to get a little notification box pop up when I get a new message.)

OK: I don’t work for or get any compensation of any type from mozilla, I’m just excited about that add on that I found! :)

Anyway, if you don’t feel like tweeting, it’s ok. … Of course it might say something in that little agreement box you have to check for your account that you must tweet every day or you will be sent to the blue moon! he he he

I have a Twitter account. I never log on and I never Tweet. It seems like a very big time killer. And besides – who really cares if I’m in the line at Wal-Mart checking out my groceries? That’s right – no one!

I do not Twitter either. I feel like too much time spent on things like that sucks away from our “real life” and takes away time, energy and emotions from our families and God’s work for our lives. Don’t get me wrong they can be a nice break once in a while and a source of information but its a slippery slope.

I don’t twitter, I don’t facebook, and I have an emergencies only cell phone. I’m okay with it, though. I can barely fit in the things that are important to me now. When we let all of this technology into our lives, we’ve got to make room for it somewhere. When there’s no room, we just can’t let it in.
