Laura, thanks for your reply to my question!

I just recently discovered your website, and I LOVE it!! I've decided I absolutely HAVE to cut back on my expenses this year (am living on Social Security) and your recipes and ideas are a wonderful help in that direction! Preparing larger meals and freezing some for later helps sooooo much with the grocery bill!

Thank you, thank you!

I'd say this would serve about 6-8. I usually use a 9x13 pan, but that's almost too big. :)

If you are making it ahead to freeze I would wait to put the biscuits on
until you are going to bake it. I am not sure the baked biscuits would
reheat all that well. My concern is that they would dry out when you reheat them.
Although, it may be just fine...:) That is sort of a scatter brained answer
so I hope it helps. ;)

Made this last night with chicken, turned out great! I made the biscuits about 1/4 inch thick, and it was too thin, next time I will not roll them quite so thin. I used a regular oval casserole dish, but think I will use something bigger next time so I can put more biscuits on it! Whole family liked it though, so that makes it a winner.

Yumm. . . I have made this dish two times and my three boys love it. While making it today with my 12 yr old son, he noted that the recipe did not tell him when to put the 2 C. turkey in;).

I made this last week. I had planned to invent some kind of white sloppy joes but then I saw your post. The filling was very yummy but I did something wrong on the biscuits and they did not raise. They had a nice flavor but were of hockey puck consistency. I must not have had any yeast in the air to "catch"! Sniff.I will make it again but will probably have to use a good old white biscuit recipe.
