Thirteen Things That I’ve Got at Least Thirteen Of at My House
By1. Pink shirts…and they’re ALL mine (obviously). (Hey, somebody has to wear pink around here!)
2. Soccer balls
3. Socks that are missing their mate.
4. Tubs with different sizes of boy clothes…with all the wonderful hand-me-downs we receive from people..and all the different boys wearing different sizes…we really do have a big stash of any size boy clothing you need.
5. Chocolate Chip Brownies (Oh, wait. I think there’s only 11, 9, 3 left) (No, I didn’t eat them all myself…we have a bunch of boys at our house, remember?)
6. Lego pieces (Yeah…make that 13,000 lego pieces…we LOVE ‘em!)
7. Floors that need to be either swept or vacuumed….or mopped.
8. Batteries hanging around in random places. I’m not sure if they are dead…or still working.
9. Light sabers, swords, or some other kind of plastic weaponry.
10. Books that I would really like to read to the boys…but just haven’t gotten around to yet.
11. Things we can’t find.
12. Pencils that need to be sharpened. (And only about 2 that don’t…but of course those belong up there in number 11…with the things we can’t find.)
13. New recipes that I’m excited to share with ya!

At one stage in my life I thought I was going to have that many children in the home, but luckily we stopped at seven :-)

My gosh you sound like my sister once did, esp. the Lego pieces and weapons of mass destruction such as swords, light-sabers, etc.
The kids have been “grown” for about 5 years. I think she’s still de-legoing the house.

That’s a lot of soccer balls — and other stuff too!

Well, I do always say that you can never have too much plastic weaponry… ;) This is a fun list and that is a LOT of pink shirts. I think I own 1 tank.
Happy TT!

Oh yes, I remember the days of the 13,000 Legos! Now we have piles of computer-related accessories. In fact, I think we’re getting close to having 13 computers!

I couldn’t imagine what you would have until I started reading and realized I have many of the same. Great list!!

I have two little boys and can relate with the light sabers…but in our house, throw in some pirate stuff, Army men, Star Wars action figures, and hot wheel cars.
Happy TT!!

When I was growing up, even though we were all girls, Legos were some of our favorite toys. Especially b/c that was something that Dad would play with us.

Creative TT! I might “steal” this idea sometime. :)

Sounds like my home sweethome

I can relate to #11! Things I can’t find. Murphy’s law: won’t find it until you buy another one! My TT is random way to save money. Have a great day!

Wow, I can so relate to MANY of these–the batteries, the mismatched socks, unsharpened pencils, books, legos, things we can’t find, floors needing attention, etc., etc., etc.
This is a GREAT LIST!! I LOVE IT!
Thanks for the chuckles today! -D
Blessings,
Janet

I like how the chocolate chip brownie count kept decreasing. You have quite a busy household. Enjoy the rest of your week!
