Thirteen Things About Me…

By Laura · Jan,24 2008

Since this is my very first post for Thursday Thirteen, I thought I would introduce myself for those of you who haven’t visited my blog before!

1.  I got married on August 13 and have been married for 13 years (aw, how appropriate for this post).

2.  I have 13 sons (actually I only have four, but it seems like 13 sometimes…).

3.  I feed my four sons 13 times a day.  (but it’s okay because I love to cook.)

4.  I homeschool my kids.

5.  I have a website to encourage families (www.heavenlyhomemakers.com).

6.  I don’t like spending money.

7.  I LOVE chocolate.

8. I have a big garden (well, right now, I have a big field of snow…).

9.  My favorite color is pink (and I wear it as much as I can).

10.  Jesus is my Savior.

11.  I know how to make mozzarella cheese. (I know, that was random, but I do, and I thought you would like to know.)

12.  My maiden name was Hamm.  (Yes, there was teasing..sniff…sniff)

13.  I didn’t know what a light saber was before I became a mother (oh, but I know now, trust me).

Thanks for stopping by!  You can see more Thurday Thirteen here!

First, welcome to Thursday Thirteen. You are off to a great start too. I can relate about the boys. Oh yes I can. Hamm…mine was Green. I didn’t get teased though because there were a whole bunch of us. Have a great TT and I’ll see you next week. :)

Welcome to the Thursday Thirteens! It’s amazing how much you learn about people through this meme, it’s really quite awesome.

I only have one son, a 2-year-old, but sometimes it feels like I have four!!

    Mine is up as well!

  4. Welcome to Thursday Thirteen! I hope you’ll grow to love it as much as I do; it’s a neat community of people.

I bet four boys feels like thirteen at times — especially when it’s time to feed them. Yowch!

I used to home school my children and I really loved it but the boy has Asperger’s Syndrome and the psychologist recommended regular school for socialization. But I still miss it and it’s been two years. Good for you, I say. :)
