With where we live, I only do this once a year. I don't switch for the seasons, just keep it all out, and do the great tub switch/go through all the hand-me-downs in the fall. I dread it. My girls are 15 and wearing about the same size, and my 12 year old boy wears out most of his clothes before they can be handed down to his younger brother. Moving as much as we have, we don't get many hand-me-downs either. This is the way I used to do it, but my kids did NOT enjoy it at all. Consider yourself lucky! :) Unfortunately as my kids are growing up I don’t get to do this much anymore. We have to have clothes for every weather for most of the year so we don't do the attic/storage thing. Mostly we just have the almost fitting clothes boxes piled in the closets waiting to be switched around. Still, with four to organize, I can feel your pain...and the sense of accomplishment when you are done! Good job letting them help! That is very impressive!
