Tattler Reusable Canning Lids Giveaway!
ByGardening and canning many of our foods has saved us quite a bit of money over the years, but wow, I spend quite a few dollars each year on canning lids. You can’t reuse them, you know? You have to replace them each time so that they’ll seal properly.
Last year, my friend Anne – the one who taught me all kinds of good information on gardening and canning - told me that she’d found Tattler and that she was going to try a box and see what she thought. Tattler makes reusable canning lids. REUSABLE!!! No throwing away, no wasting money. I love this.
Anne had everything good to say about canning with Tattler lids last year. All of her jars sealed just fine. She and I got quite giddy about the whole experience actually. I know this is shocking to you. Hey, if you can’t get giddy over reusable canning lids, what can you get giddy over? (Maybe a milking cow? Yes, we get giddy together over those too.) Anyway…
S&S Innovations, Corp has agreed to give away two boxes of their Tattler Reusable Canning Lids: a regular sized box of 12 and a wide mouth box of 12.

I’m impatiently waiting on my tomatoes to grow big and ripen so I can actually play with my new toys. I’ll be back in a few weeks to share more about my canning with Tattler lids experience. In the meantime, I have very high hopes based on my friend Anne’s experience. Here’s all the cool specs of Tattler lids:
- Indefinitely reusable
- Use with a pressure canner, water bath or vacuum sealer
- FDA and USDA approved materials
- Use with standard metal band
- Dishwasher Safe
- BPA free!
The price of Tattler lids may seem high, but I feel like it’s a wonderful investment in a product that will in the long run, save me money. Because of how much canning I do each year, I’m actually considering buying a case of twenty-four dozen. Maybe some of my friends will go in on that with me. Any takers? Anne? ;)
If you’re interested in winning this set (two boxes) of Tattler Reusable Lids, leave a comment on this post. I’ll draw two random winners on Monday, July 18.
This givewaway is now closed…thanks!

I would love to try these – save money buying new lids, save gas running to the store for lids, save the environment by not throwing the old lids away – what a great idea!
