Oh, I’m so jealous. Strawberries have been gone from this area for months. Silly Texas heat! But there is nothing better in life than homegrown strawberries. Well, maybe homegrown tomatoes. Homegrown pumpkins are good, too. Oh! And fresh picked spinach in the middle of winter. Mmm …

The moral of the story? I like things that grow in my garden. :) And your strawberries are so pretty!! We picked dewberries is quantities like that this year, and I made a ton of dewberry jam and dewberry syrup.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE strawberries. They’re one of my very favorite foods. And they’re one of the top 3 things I miss from CA…maybe THE top thing…fresh berries straight from the field. Yum!
