~  For all who were concerned about me hand cutting all of today’s French fries by hand, I thought I’d let you know that a few weeks ago we used some online credit to get a wonderful Progressive International Deluxe Potato Cutter.  I love it!!  Cutting five pounds of fries was easy.  :)

I see the potato/fry cutter got a lot of low reviews on Amazon. Would you mind doing a review post on what you find to be the pros and cons of it? (Curious to if it would be strong enough to cut sweet potato fries.) Thanks!

Interesting that it got low reviews. We’ve found that it’s done great for us. I’m not sure how it would do with a sweet potato. It might struggle a little bit, or maybe would work better if you cut the sweet potato in half before putting it in.

Does your family enjoy sweet potato fries? I know we just discovered them a few years ago and we really love them.

I hardly think to make them. I know we would enjoy them!

Well, I cut them in strips, toss them with olive oil, seasoned salt and pepper and roast them on a baking stone at 450 degrees for about 30 minutes, flipping once about halfway through. I serve them with a mayo garlic sauce which we love. You should really try it sometime! I’ve also just discovered white sweet potatoes and they are great cubed up and roasted, too. (I really enjoy your site, by the way!)

I would love to hear a review on the potato/fry cutter as well. Oh and a quick question-for the 15% code at Redmond-how long is that good for? Thanks!

I don’t remember that they gave me an expiration date. I’ll have to check on that. :)

I LOVE their lentil chips & the coupon worked on them too!! Thank you for posting!

Just noticed the first comment above. Do the lentil chips contain any GMOs!?! I now have 12 bags to eat through…Lol.
