Question #35
BySo…are you a blogger too? Fun isn’t it?
You all know what my blog is about (healthy recipes…menu plans…homemaking tips…parenting stuff…the crazy life of living with bunches of boys…).
Now I’d like you to tell us what your blog is all about. Chances are I’ve been to your blog before, especially if you’ve ever linked up with Gratituesday or left a comment. But just in case, leave a comment telling us all a bit about you and your blog. I’m interested to know the focus of your blog and about why you decided to start a blog!
Don’t have a blog? Well then, just leave a comment telling us a bit about you! And maybe tell us what blogs you like to read!

My blog is an outlet of expression for a stay-at-home Mom of two busy boys, living in a big city…..desiring to do life as simply and frugally as possible, and striving to honor the Lord in the process.

My blog is about how God has blessed my life. I have so very many things to be grateful for, and can think of nothing better to dedicate my blog to.

With a husband working nights, the kids in bed and me having lots of opinions on many things, a blog is a good way for me to get my thoughts out and helpful for those who may be curious about what my brain might be cracking. It’s the perfect outlet for me since otherwise I would just pace back and forth. It leads me to other blogs as well.

I started blogging mainly for family members. Since my husband is a Chaplain in the military, I did it as a way for people to stay connected to us. I post about frugality, spiritual encouragement, homeschooling, some crafting…and for the past two months…what life has been like since my husband has been deployed. I have greatly enjoyed your blog and have gleaned from your healthy recipes. I try to keep it healthy at my house too.
God bless,
jackie

Hi Laura!
I’m blogging for lots of reasons, one of the main ones being that it provides needed social interaction for this SAHM just recovering from SAHM culture shock (I have a 9-month-old).
My blog tagline is “Fiery redhead attempting motherhood”, which pretty well says it all :)

I’am not a blogger. Just a new mom with two under the age of 3. I’m still learning about all this. How to live on one salery. Shop and provide meals that taste good and are healthy. I love your menues!! This part is still very difficult for me but I’m learning. I use what you do as a guide till I’m better at it. thanks so much from Winston-Salem NC.

I blog about my crazy life. I blog about food A LOT. I really like food. Most of the time it’s healthy food. I like to share ways that I’ve made our food healthier. I like to blog about my garden. I chatter about it a lot during garden season. I share projects I’ve done… sewing, knitting, tie-dye, and who knows what else. I’m too crafty for my own good. Sometimes I blog some really deep thoughts about life and God. And, oh yeah, I talk about my kids sometimes too. :-P
I started my blog when we wanted to start homesteading, but it’s grown from there into something that usually resembles my actual life. :-)

I started blogging in February and wrote a little bit about what I was hoping to do here:
http://www.beautifulcalling.ca/2009/03/why-blog.html
Beautiful Calling is about biblical womanhood, being a wife, mother and everything that all of those entail.
I also like to do product reviews (both sponsored or just sharing what works for me!) and of course Giveaways are fun too!
Come See Me! :)

What a great idea and resource for all of us!
My blog, Kitchen Stewardship, is dedicated to the mission of helping people balance God’s calls to stewardship of the environment, family’s nutrition, time and budget. I offer weekly themes with a Monday Mission (easy steps to making one change in your kitchen), recipes, information/research and faith-based reflections. I’m enjoying the challenge and the connections with others, but it sure is hard to figure out how to balance my time! Blogging is a bit addictive and needs to be handled with prayer, I think. Now I’m off to watch my 4-y-old rollerblade in the driveway, which is much more important than blogging!

My blog is mostly about natural living: nutrition, natural products, herbs, natural pregnancy, homebirth, etc. I also write my meal plans, things that my family does, etc.

My blog is called “A Firefighter’s Wife”. I started this blog to encourage mothers in the daily in and outs of mothering. I post devotions once a week, recipes, lots of pictures and updates of my family (mostly for grandparent’s sakes). I am always wanting to share my testimony on what God is teaching me (sometimes that can be daily!) Come visit me!

Wait… there is supposed to be a theme?
I agree with whomever it was that said blogging was therapy. I started my blog as a writing-therapy journal. It worked out to find me many new friends, and let me see a deeper insight of the people I thought I knew already.
I have let it fall by the wayside lately, and that confession makes me sad.

My blog is about saving money and stockpiling! I love to use coupons, find clearance sales, go garage saling, etc. Along the way I’ve participated in blog carnivals like Tackle It Tuesday, Works For Me Wednesday, Super Savings Saturday, etc.

Hi there… I just started blogging last fall. I’m a passionate photographer, and after months of family and friends pushing me to start my own business I finally did. So this blog is about my family and also sneak peeks for my clients. I love to write and type down my thoughts and I love love love beautiful, touching images.
There hasn’t been a lot of posts the last while. My husband and I have been going through a really rough patch, but now we’re going to therapy and I’m feeling so happy and ready to start my new life. Enjoy!

Blogging! Some days I love it, some days it’s stressful. At almost 40 I am finding out that I am now the older woman talked about in the Bible. The one that should be passing along homemaking helps to the younger generation. My own daughter was married a year ago(and moved a state away), so it’s been helpful to her.
I blog about everything in our crazy life. Homeschooling (mostly hands-on), special needs (ADHD, selective mutism, recovered from autism), our path of changing our foods from the standard American diet to a GF/CF, nourishing diet, homesteading, frugal and debt-free living, coupon shopping (occasionally), homemaking tips, celiac disease, and the antics of pre-teen and teen daughters.
I actually prefer to read blogs (like yours)rather than write, (that’s why there are frequent no-post days)but I have a few readers that read my adventures. LOL!
Blessings,
Calina
