Question #14

By Laura · Aug,16 2008

I’m not a big movie watcher…and rarely do I think a movie is worth watching more than once.

My one exception is the movie, “Return To Me”.  I thought that movie was so sweet that I watched it back to back to back when I borrowed it from my friend a couple of years ago.  So if someone were to ask what my favorite movie is…I’d have to answer, “Return to Me”.

So if someone (like ME) were to ask you what your favorite movie is…what would you say?!

Well I would have to say “The Notebook”. I’ve seen that movie at least a dozen times and I still cry like a baby! I also love Return To Me!

Being a girl from the South, I still have to say that my all-time favorite movie is Gone With the Wind!

I pick Jackie Chan’s The Legend of Drunken Master, and while I’m at it, I’ll add the prequel Drunken Master. I could watch Chan flex his kung fu prowess all day long, not to mention breathing fire like a dragon and an interesting story.

My favorite is Anne of Green Gables (all three of them). I watch them over and over again. They are actually the only DVDs I own for myself.

  10. Lindsey says:

I know of a real life couple that’s love story is similar to that movie! Her husband had died very suddenly of a brain tumor and donated all of his organs…a couple of years later she got a letter from a man that had received one (I believe it was his heart) thanking her. They kept in contact and fell in love, eventually getting married!

  15. Remember the Titans. I think I’d love that movie even if I wasn’t raised by a football coach and married to another football coach!

And after reading all of the comments… looks like I need to find someone with Return to Me and borrow it! I’ve never seen it… does that get me kicked out of the Heavenly Homemakers “groupie” club?!?

I love, love, love! Pride and Prejudice (only the BBC 6 hour). The story, costumes and actors are perfect. Can never get enough of Fiddler on the Roof- great for understanding our Jewish roots as Christians.

I don’t know if I can pick just one. Some of mine have already been mentioned (the “Anne” movies, Return to Me), but I also love You’ve Got Mail and French Kiss. No matter how many times we watch French Kiss, hubby and I always laugh at the same stuff!

    Saint John in Exile!
I love it. Everybody else around here thinks it’s kind of corny, but I saw it right after I got saved and it just blessed my heart. I also think it’s funny…but again…I can’t get a soul around here to watch it with me!

DH even bought me my own copy but told me to watch it when he’s outta town! lol

Oh, I love Return to Me, and Places in the Heart.

But my favorite would be Sweet Home Alabama or 13 Going on 30 or Some Kind of Wonderful — obviously I can’t pick just one. I also love all the football movies, like Remember the Titans, and all the others.
