Organic Deals at Amazon

By Laura · Apr,06 2011

I think I may be setting a record today for how many posts I’m putting up!  I still have (at least) two more to go!!  After this week’s Gluten Free Recipe Parade, I don’t plan to be so “post happy”, but there is just a lot to share this week!

Several have asked about sharing great deals on Organic Amazon Groceries.  I’ve been trying during the past couple of weeks to think about this more and to share deals with you when I find them.  I really love shopping through my food co-op Azure Standard and when possible, it’s great to find good deals through Amazon too. Just this morning, two readers emailed me with great deals at Amazon.  How could I not pass them on?!

Nancy, who blogs at Real Food, Allergy Free, shared with me this wonderful deal on Organic, Gluten Free Cereal from Nature’s Path.  I don’t typically feed my family much cereal, but I do like to have it on hand for crazy mornings.  Can you believe it’s possible to get this cereal for as low as $1.36/box?!  Here’s how:

Choose your Cereal from Nature’s Path.  Select “subscribe and save” which will give you 15% off the price.  While checking out, use the promo code NATPATH5 to receive yet another 10% off!!

Jennifer also emailed this morning to tell me that she’d found a great deal on Coombs Family Farm Grade B Maple Syrup.  You can get a 32 ounce jug for only $14.48, again with “subscribe and save”.  This is an excellent deal on Real Maple Syrup, and perfect timing for me because I’m almost out!

What to do with “subscribe and save”:

You’ll save an extra 15% on the cost of your item, plus receive free shipping if you select “subscribe and save”!!  However, if you don’t want to be stuck with future cost and products, select delivery for every 6 months.  Then, as soon as your items arrive, log into your Amazon account, click on “manage subscribe and save items”.  There, you can cancel your subscription!

If you're new to Heavenly Homemakers, you may want to subscribe to receive free updates through RSS feed or by Email. Thanks for visiting!

Is there a way to know what products the Nature’s Path discount code is good for, other than just trying it on each item to see?

My understanding is that it’s good for all Nature’s Path CEREAL, but I’m not completely sure! I guess like you said, try it and see!

I also get this syrup on subscribe and save and I use my swagbucks, too. So sometimes I get it for very little money and I get it in two days because I am close to the distribution center. Cool beans!

Thanks so much for this post! I’ve been ‘going to order’ more syrup now for a while, but I’m glad I procrastinated this time! Plus I also had a new gift card from Swagbucks to use! Great deal!

Sweet, I’ve had my eye out for another maply syrup special!

Gluten free idea: Our best dessert is chocolate fondue, made with a good quality chocolate bar (Like Endangered Species) and either canned cocounut milk or cream (cow’s). Then we dip all kinds of fruit, nuts, Food Should Taste Good’s chocolate tortilla chips, and for also marshmallows or rice krispie treats. Of course those last two aren’t healthy. But this is the best grand dessert for anyone, it’s not trying to mimick another food like a gf cookie would, it’s just so special, yummy, and great for conversation!

i’m not seeing the deal on the Maple Syrup… I click the link but it does not reflect the price you are indicating. Do you think it changed??

Oh, looks like you’re right. I would imagine they sold their “limit” for that price and then had to bump the price back up. :( This deal isn’t quite as good, put *almost*: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013E7C0S?ie=UTF8&tag=wwwheavenlyho-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=B0013E7C0S

Help, please! My syrup is not showing free shipping in the cart (though it’s eligible for free shipping w/ $25 order) and I’m afraid if I click “sign me up,” it’s going to generate the order without me being able to add enough to it to reach the $25 minimum. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

    Sorry, I made a mistake. I see it now. =}

I buy really great Maple Syrup at Costco for only $12.24/32 oz. It’s grade A. That’s the best deal I’ve seen so far but it would be nice to have it shipped directly to your house.
