How about eggs & toast? Sometimes it's called eggs in a nest? Cut out a shape of your slice of bread, toast it on one side in your pan, flip it and crack an egg in it. Cook until it's done the way you like it. I have a big snowflake cookie cutter that would work. Maybe if you beat the eggs first, and added some chopped spinach or scallions, you could get them greenish and then use the tree cookie cutter. If you served ham with it, you could make many preschoolers happy: green eggs and ham but Christmas themed. Maybe I'll make them for my big kids anyways!

My mom made stained glass cookies by cutting out a larger christmas sugar cookie and then a smaller shape out of the center. We filled the center with crushed hard candies of different colors and then baked them. The candy melted into a little "window." Those were beautiful to hang on a Christmas tree, but we had to remember to use a straw to make a hole at the top before we baked them. They are cute for valentine's day too with hearts.

How about cutting cheese or lunch meat with cookie cutters? :D You could even use them to sprinkle powdered sugar or other wise onto cakes in a decoration. :D

Hello!

What creative ideas to use our cookie cutters! The pizzas are such a cute, delicious idea. I'm thinking fancy little sandwiches would be neat too. The extra bread can be frozen and used for homemade croutons later.

Take Care,

Trixie
