My mom made stained glass cookies by cutting out a larger christmas sugar cookie and then a smaller shape out of the center. We filled the center with crushed hard candies of different colors and then baked them. The candy melted into a little "window." Those were beautiful to hang on a Christmas tree, but we had to remember to use a straw to make a hole at the top before we baked them. They are cute for valentine's day too with hearts.

How about cutting cheese or lunch meat with cookie cutters? :D You could even use them to sprinkle powdered sugar or other wise onto cakes in a decoration. :D

Hello!

What creative ideas to use our cookie cutters! The pizzas are such a cute, delicious idea. I'm thinking fancy little sandwiches would be neat too. The extra bread can be frozen and used for homemade croutons later.

Take Care,

Trixie

my mom used to make ornaments - equal parts applesauce and cinnamon (if i remember correctly) makes a doughy substance. roll it out and use cookie cutters to cut out the shape you need. then use a straw to make a small hole at the top. let it dry over night and the tie a ribbon through the hole so it will hang. it can also be used as a Christmasy scented car freshner.
