By Laura · Jul,27 2008

I have finished another e-book!!  This is actually the very first ebook I started writing (many, many months ago!)…then I put it on hold….and I’m excited to tell you that it is now FINISHED!!

I am so excited to be launching this ebook, called “Fill ‘Em Up!”

fillemupcover3sm.JPG

“Fill ‘Em Up!” is written for parents or teachers of children ages 4-18 (give or take!).

It contains seven recipes….and each recipe is accompanied by two Bible lessons (one suggested for use with children ages 4-10, the other suggested for use with children 11-18).

While you spend special time cooking and baking with your kids and filling their tummies…you also experience the joy of discussing God’s word together, which will fill their hearts with His wisdom.

Thus the name…”Fill ‘Em Up!”

These tried and true recipe/lessons have worked well for families, as well as groups of children and teens.  What a fun way to study God’s word together!

To help you more fully understand what ”Fill ’Em Up!” is all about I am offering everyone a free download of the one of the lessons in this book!  Please feel free to download it here, read through it and try it out!  Let your friends, family and youth workers know about it!

AND…sign up here to win the entire ebook!  Leave a comment letting me know how you would use this ebook…and on Friday at 5pm CST, I’ll let Random.org choose a winner.

  40. Marnie says:

Well, since I am a homeschooling mom of 6, I would definately use the recipes to start to day. One of the goals in my homeschooling career is to have raised children to be responsible adults who can cook, clean and run their own home without wasting a lot of money. When I was first married I had no idea of how to run my own home. Because of that I wasted alot of my husband’s hard earned money (which was in short supply!!! I want my children to avoid that.

  41. Barbara says:

I’m a new admirer of your blog – I’m here for the healthy recipes in particular! It would be so much fun to win your new ebook. I would use it with my nearly 8 year old twins who love helping me in the kitchen. I would also use it for teaching homeschool co-op classes and when little friends come over for play dates. Thanks for the opportunity.

  42. Julie says:

I was just looking for a fun Bible study to do with my younger children 5 and 6. This looks perfect.

  43. Lymeade Lady says:

I would love to use it as I teach my daughter to cook. She just turned 7 and loves to help out in the kitchen. (Well actually my 3 yo loves to “help out” too…) She really looks forward to being able to cook. I want to help her be good at cooking and housekeeping before she leaves home–something I didn’t have. Thanks!

  44. Stephanie says:

I love this idea! My 6 year old always wants to help in the kitchen and this makes it so much better.

  45. Claudea says:

My girls (5 and 2) love to help in the kitchen, so this book will give me more ideas and an opportunity to learn about God.
    Thank you!
