My favorite part of the holidays is the extra time with family.
Those books look great!
My favorite part of the holidays would have to be spending time with family and baking special treats It is also really nice to let worries and ‘to-do’ lists go and just focus on my family.
Have a lovely day,
Stacy
My favorite part about the holidays is being with my family – immediate and extended!
Christmas Eve Mass at my childhood church and our big extended family get together.
Time spent with family in the most magical time of year. I love the coziness, smells and the tree!
My favorite part of the holidays is making things with the kids for them to give as gifts..
bAKING WITH MY KIDS ROCKS.
As I’ve gotten older the best part of the Holidays is really just spending time with family and making lots of exciting memories. Thanks for the great new books! The look awesome.
My favorite part of the holidays is forcing myself to take a breather and enjoy my children. This is something that unfortunately our busy life has far too little of.
I’d love to have a book of Heavenly HomeMakers holiday activities and recipes. I enjoy the books I have bought in the past – use them all the time (now that I know what all those American ingredients are!)
I would love to try some new recipes from the holiday hospitality guide. Unfortunately I’ll be out of town Friday for about 10 days. If you enter me anyway and I win, will you please hold it for me even though I can’t respond within a few days?? I hope so.
Thanks for sharing your ebooks!
My favorite time of CHRISTmas time is when my children put on their own production complete with songs played or sung, reading of Luke 2, poetry readings, and sometimes skits, too. :D
I love The Nutcracker (this year I have 3 of 5 children in the cast!) I love my kids getting excited to have EVERYONE over for Thanksgiving, 2 birthdays and Christmas. It’s a busy 4 weeks around here! But most of all, I love my children creating their very own Christmas play to perform for extended family and friends on Christmas Eve. Music, props, costumes…and a focus on the REAL reason for the Season!
My favorite way to enjoy the holidays is being around my family and remembering how good God was, is, and is to come! He is the reason that we celebrate!
This is my favorite time of year:) The Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are even more fun now that I have kids! I love enjoying all of my precious family traditions and incorporating them with my husbands special traditions and memories. I love starting new traditions with our young family. I love to hear my 4 year old talk about the meaning of Christmas and sing Christmas songs. I love seeing my 2 year old getting excited because she is now old enough to understand what this season is all about. I am SO excited that we are having a “baby’s 1st Christmas” at our house this year! Yay! I LOVE CHRISTMAS:)
My favorite part about this time of year is the sparkle in my kids eyes. It is taking a walk through the leaves to hear the “crunch”! It is the colors and the smells and the tastes. It is the brisk wind bringing the smell of woodburning to my door. It is the snuggling under the blankets to read a good book. There are so many things I LOVE about this seasons.

Thanks for the giveaway!
I love all the meaning wrapped up in the holidays. They are so full of God’s grace to his people and I enjoy sharing that with my children.
There are so many favorites, but one thing we do every year as a family is bake cookies and make hot chocolate as we decorate the tree. So much fun!
My favorite part of the holiday season is just that special feeling in the air. People seem to be a little more patient, a little more courteous and a little quicker to smile. I think the “holiday spirit” is exactly that—God’s spirit. I suppose the change comes when people embrace it, whether they know it or not. Love, joy, peace- these are of God and I am thankful He loves mankind enough to share His heart with us.
I love the actual meaning of Christmas, to celebrate Christ’s birth.
My favorite part of the holiday season is spending quality time with family. Sometimes things get so busy it’s nice to slow it down and just be with the ones you love.
My favorite part of the holiday season is the joy in my families eyes as we gather together and give thanks to God and celebrate His wonderful gift!
I love all the smells (pine, baking, candles, etc.), thoughts of others as I choose gifts for them, and thoughts about God’s gift to us of His son.
I love being with my family. We don’t get to be with each other often, so we make the most of it at the holidays. Sitting at the dining room table laughing, hours after the meal has ended…playing board games until midnight…everyone at the candlelight Christmas Eve service…just plain being together. I love it!
my favorite time is the atmosphere. all the lights, smells, and sounds. please enter me in the contest! :-)
melissa
That looks so fun! I would love to win.
my favorite part of the holiday is remembering the true essence of the season. Christmas always reminds us of God’s love that He gave us His only begotten sun to redeem us through his death and ressurection.
I love spending time in the kitchen baking goodies with my family for the holidays.
My favorite part of the holidays is spending time with family. Life is too short you never know who will be here the next holidays–last year we lost 5 close family members before the holidays.
I love the change of pace, the getting to do things with the kids, the break from school, the music, the shopping, etc, etc…
Thanks for the giveaway.
I love this time of year – partly because of the cooler weather (hard to come by in Texas!), but mostly because of the time spent with loved ones and the chance to practice hospitality and cook such great holiday foods. (I’ve got a killer turkey recipe, but it’s not for everyday use.) :)
Thanks for everything – I’m really enjoying reading your blog!
With one son grown, working, and living away from home, family has become even more important to me. He’s coming for deer hunting this weekend; so right now we are waiting for him, the predicted snow and listening to of all things Bing Crosby’s Christmas music(not my idea).
I love the excitement of preparing for the holidays and all the great events and listening to Christmas music, but the BEST moments are with the family re-connecting in the quietness of our home and celebrating the birth of One special child.
I like making the same things year after year with my kids, for example…I love making Turkey hands with my kids for Thanksgiving. I trace their hands and then make the turkey face with gobbler and feet, write a little note to grandma on it from each child, stick a magnet on the back of it and voila, a beautiful reminder to Grandma of how special she is every time she passes her fridge. These little traditions are special for all of us.
I would love these books! My favorite part of the holiday season is seeing extended family. I love all the memories and stories that are revived and all the traditions that are being made one year at a time.
My husband and I are starting a new tradition this year of fixing and serving Thanksgiving dinner to people who are less fortunate. We are also helping my mom with her Christmas Eve open house for people who don’t have family nearby. Some new recipes would be lots of fun.
I love the holiday season! Everyone seems to always be so happy and joyful at this time of year. I love shopping for the perfect gifts for everyone – I just love giving gifts so much more than receiving them! I love to see the reactions on people’s faces when you offer them gifts. My favorite thing about this time of year is probably our family’s tradition of adopting a family (generally one from a battered women’s shelter). I just love the feeling of being able to provide a wonderful Christmas to a mother and children that have gone through so much and completely deserve a happy, joyous, blessed Christmas!
family!!!
I love the special holiday spirit and getting together with family. My husband loves the food!
