Oh! I would love one of these. My favorite part of holiday is the time off from school and work to just sit at home with each other. Oh, and the food, I love it.
My favorite part of the holidays is when I slow down enough to really think about why we are having them!
I’m trying to get enough done ahead of time so I can do that very thing.
I LOVE making our Christmas gifts with my son…and occasionally I can get Hubby involved. I feel blessed to be able to create something with my own hands and put a piece of my heart into it. We have MADE our gifts for many years now and it is the BEST part of the season for me!
What a wonderful giveaway!
My favorite part of the upcoming holidays is watching everyone come together and enjoy their presence. I live away from my family, and so, during the holidays we get to see them more often. I love that we can come together again as though we’ve never been apart!
I also love the warmth of a home decorated for the season. Its so cozy and warm to see candles lit, fires going, and red and gold decorations!
I love the smells of the holiday season. Fires burning, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, pies baking…. I love being with family that we only see a couple times a year. I love the candlelight service on Christmas Eve with all the lights out and people only holding candles….
My favorite part of the holidays is spending it with family. Being 13 hours from our family we don’t get to do this most years, BUT this year…I am so excited to say that we will have a house full! My mom, stepdad, step sis, bil and nephews and possibly my sister will ALL be here for Thanksgiving! Yes, we will have to drag out some air mattresses and be cramped for several days but I am so excited and happy to have them come to Thanksgiving in my home!!!
My favorite part of the holidays is being with family, especially seeing family that we only see at Christmas-time! My second favorite thing is baking! I love making fresh baked goodies for everyone!
I love the smells of Christmas — pine trees, gingerbread, apple cider, cookies, etc!
I also love remembering that this was when Jesus was born — born so that He could die for my sins, that I could have my sins forgiven and go to heaven when I die.
My favorite part of Thanksgiving is doing our family “Thankful Leaves”. I cut die cut leaves out and at dinner each night from November 1 – Thanksgiving dinner, the kiddos say one thing they are thankful for. Then, we tape the leaves up on the window. By thanksgiving, we have a FULL window to remind us all we have to be thankful for.
For Christmas, my favorite part is the Nativity set the kids have to play with. They take turns playing all the parts and putting the scene together and changing it all around.
Can’t wait to see the new ebooks!!
Blessings,
Debra
Definitely being with family, focusing on family, slowing down to enjoy family.
Family!
I love getting together with family and eating good homemade food! It is the best part as we all love to cook/bake and share our newest creations!
My favorite part of the holidays is Sunday evenings, when we make special holiday treat foods, make a Christmas craft, invite company over or play a game together, and just soak up the season. :)
I just love the magic of the season- the snow, the lights, the decorations, the scents, the music, the food, and the focus on the Savior.
Great giveaway! I’m thinking of throwing a holiday party for my kids this year, so the kid’s e-book would be perfect for us!
I love spending time with family (we live pretty far away from most of them) and having mu husband home for longer periods of time when he is off work for the Holidays. I look forward this year to baking with my almost three year old twin girls. They love to “help” in the kitchen!
Anything that helps me enjoy the season with my family…
My favorite part of the holidays is the opportunities to teach my daughter about service and giving. And, of course, the food!!
I love picking out, decorating, and enjoying our Christmas tree and our churches annual caroling event! Actually I love it all!
I love seeing the holiday through my boys’ eyes. My youngest is 2 so this will be the first year that he really starts to understand everything about Christmas. The second book, especially, would be fun to have!
The food, the smells, the warmth, having everyone together under one roof… there is something about being safe and warm inside on a cold winter day with your family.
The weather and family. We have been getting together with all the ‘local’ (within 4-5 hours) cousins since I can remember. Grandma and grandfather have passed on, but we have kept the tradition alive.
my favorite part of the holiday season is getting to see our families, who each live between 7-12 hours from us! i love snowshoeing and cross country skiing with them, playing games and enjoying homemade baked goods!
What’s not to love? I don’t know if I can narrow it down. Let’s see, I love getting ready. The baking and cooking…all the prep! I truly enjoy it! (Which is why I would love these books!) The family that all comes together. We are going east for Thanksgiving and having Christmas here. I love the anticipation. We make a countdown chain w/ scripture for Christmas. Wrapping presents and decorating the house. Having music on with a peppermint mocha. Lighting a yummy smelling candle and reading books that tell us why we REALLY celebrate. I must say though watching my children throughout it all, from the baking, to the lights, to the parades & presents and espicially reading the Christmas story. Watching their eyes light up and the joy and innocence of it all…amazing.
Well, I’m looking forward having our “own” Thanksgiving this year, with some friends. We’re trying to start a new tradition :-)
I just learned that over Christmas my parents and young brothers are leaving the state to go visit my grandparents in Ohio. = ( So this will be a very different Christmas for me. Plus, Lord willing, I will be 8 months pregnant with our first child. = )
I realize that I will need to let myself off the “holiday hook” in a lot of ways (especially because I will be working until the 19th), but having part of our family far away will make it important that we focus on loving and blessing the part of our family that will be here, my in-laws, and maybe building some special traditions for my sweet husband and I and our unborn child.
I think this can be a very memorable and special Christmas for us, but I definitely could use some ideas and orgnaization help!
Christmas is my Favourite time of the year!
I love the time that we can spend with family and friends.
On Christmas Eve my mother in law spends the night and we all go to Church for a candle light service. She loves to be up on Christmas Morning and watch the kids open their gifts.
Those a memories that my children will remember for the rest of their lives!
I love seeing family that we don’t see much through out the year. My children love to get together and play with their cousins, and their aunt and uncle who live far away will be home this year to shower them with love and attention!
I love to watch how excited my daughter gets at all the holiday functions and my son was teeny tiny last Christmas, so I am looking forward to experiencing Christmas through his eyes as well this year.
I love making gifts with my kiddos and seeing their excitement as the recipients open something they’ve made with love.
The kid’s ebook sounds like so much fun!
I love the simple joy that I associate with the holidays. It comes from the sense of happiness I have for good times with my family and most of all, the culmination of the celebrations with celebrating the birth of the Savior. It is a happy time of year.
I love the feeling and being with family. I wish that there was the same feeling all the year through. But there is something in the air at that time.
My favorite things associated with the holidays are baking in the kitchen and creating lots of fun memories. This year will be even more special as my hubby is home safe with us…
My favorite part of the holiday season is the anticipation. I love the joy and expectation on my children’s faces and in my heart. There is a feeling of celebration in the air.
Hmmm…so many to chose from. Probably the best part if having your family come home to visit.
That and that yummy holiday smell everything has. Oooooh. YUm.
I love decorating the tree with my son. Last year he (age 3) put all of the little ornaments in one glob on one branch. And then he was done. We took so many pictures of that one little branch. I can’t wait for this year…
My favorite part of the holidays is slowing down to do special things with my twins. Things like baking, reading, snuggling, watching the snow fall, just being together.
Oooh, wonderful giveaways!! You are so talented. I am loving the whole website-aversery….Thanks for sharing!
Forgot to include that my favorite part of the holidays is watching the excitement through my children’s eyes. They are still just learning about baby Jesus and all the traditional songs and stories that go along with the holidays are just beautiful to witness from their perspective.
These books look wonderful! My favorite part of the holidays is spending unhurried, quality time, with little stress with my own little family as well as the extended family. It is always so refreshing!
I just downloaded the pie book and can’t wait to try one of the apple crumb versions. It might even be tonight! We have family coming from out of state for Thanksgiving, and I’m looking forward to welcoming them and serving them good food. I’m new to this website and am already excited about what I’m finding.
I love the sights and smells of the holidays. Everything is so festive and I love spending time with family. I guess that’s more than one thing.
Spending time with family is the best part of the holidays.
My favorite part of the holiday is just preperations with my children. I LOVE working on our own traditions and keeping the focus on Christ..even with Thanksgiving.
I’ve been enjoying your blog and hope that everyone has a wonderful week!

I love the lights, smells, and music of Christmas!
I LOVE spending time with my family and friends during the holidays!!
I love doing devotions and meditating more on who Jesus is. The Christmas goodies are also enticing!
Homemade noodles over mashed potatoes at Grandma Johnson’s – no question about it.
