I really enjoy your blog. I made your beefy enchilada bake the other night and we really enjoyed it.

I have a recipe for salmon that I'd like to share with you.

thaw the salmon in warm water. Cook your salmon fillets in a skillet about 5 minutes on each side. Be careful not to let it get dryed out, I add a little water and a lid to keep it moist. While it's cooking mix blueberry jam and BBQ sauce together in a small bowl. Use about twice as much jam as BBQ sauce. Once the salmon is almost done, add the jam mixture and spread it around on top of the salmon. If it's to hot it will get runny and all run off (which coats the underside but also looses a lot in the pan). Serve. My family loves this recipe, I hope yours does too.

I am so excited about the cheese!!!! I cannot wait!!!! Also, we just started to incorporate fish this past week. When I made salmon, Hadley asked what it was and I told her it was fish. She said, "mommy, we don't eat fish, we only eat good food." She did end up loving it and even ate a whole piece of talapia later in the week!

I happen to love shrimp. In fact, shrimp is the seafood that introduced me to the fish family. Before shrimp I wouldn't touch fish. My favorite way to eat shrimp is in a stirfry served with rice. Yum.

Hi Laura,
You know I've been following your blog for quite some time (I'm the Legacy Prayer Journals gal) and I also have a cooking blog (www.whatscooking4us.blogspot.com) and I've recently started reading the book Nourishing Traditions. You seem to do a lot of the things I'm reading in that book so I was wondering if that is where you've gotten your eating healthy from or if there are other books or other ways you've come to eating healthy like this?

And my second question, I know you drink raw milk, do you also buy raw cheese? I too am anxious to hear about making the mozzarella cheese because I've seen that a few times on other blogs but it looked labor and time intensive.

You've got me switched over to shopping through Azure Standard now (thank you by the way because I love it and have been debating it for years and you're the one that finally got me to take the plunge and try it) so I guess I'm just trying to figure out if purchasing raw cheese is as important as some say.

Thanks for reading my long comment. =0) OH and thanks for the input about Zencart...we are working on getting ours up and running so that LPJ can be downloadable soon. I appreciate your blogging mentorship my sister in Christ! =0)

I am totally going to try modifying your breakfast cookie recipe at my house. My son has food allergies so the eggs will need to be changed to apple sauce, but I think I can pull it off. Mmm yummy.
