Menu Plan For the Week
By Laura · May,18 2008Anybody else out there as menu-plan-dependent as I am?
I’ve been planning my meals for years, and I guarantee you that if I don’t have a plan, I just stare at my refrigerator at meal time in a spaced-off daze. By that time, I’m too tired to think, too hungry to care, and my meat is too frozen to cook.
I MUST plan my meals…it’s the only way I can function. And I must type it out, print it off, and put it on the fridge so that I can see it 14 (to 27) times per day.
Thanks to Organizing Junkie for hosting Menu Plan Monday! :)

See ya soon!

Your menu looks great. I agree menu planning is a must. If I do not menu plan it drives me crazy. I have been menu planning for years. Once in a while I don’t do it for a week or two and I always regret it and go back to planning.

I’m another who MUST menu plan! I love your printable sheets. I wonder if they’d be okay to laminate and use a whiteboard marker?
Lovely to see real food menus. And 3 meals a day planned – wow!
Thank you!

This is something I desperately need to do! We always end up with odds and ends.
I absolutely adore your printables! I am gonna jump on this tomorrow morning.

I’m all about real food, too! :) I’m excited for blueberry season in July, so that I can make your coffee cake. (We moved in July last year, so I didn’t get to put up much.)
Blessings,
MIchele :)

Everything sounds so good Laura! I love the way you make real meals for lunch and don’t just use the “standards.” I really need to start doing that.

I’m trying to be menu-plan-dependent.
Right now I’m lucky if I think of something the night before. Most days I wake up, look in the freezer and either take something out to thaw and or throw it in the crock-pot OR I plan for eating out OR I plan something super simple like grilled cheese or breakfast.
My life is pretty hectic and I’m trying to get more routine. My life used to be planable….

If I don’t have menu plan…I don’t shop. If I don’t shop…I can’t cook. If I can’t cook…we eat out. I have to have one to function. And honestly…each time I make mine I sit and go through all of yours to get ideas. Each and everytime. :)
