Links Worth Looking At

By Laura · Oct,01 2009

Here are a few things I’ve been wanting to mention to you:

  • I received an email from Becki Rutledge who is very involved with fundraising for 4US, an organization working to prevent abortion.  They are raising money to purchase ultrasound machines for crisis pregnancy centers.  This program has been very successful in helping women to choose LIFE for their child.  If you are able and willing to make a donation for this cause, you can do that here.  Every penny donated goes toward the purchase of the ultrasound machine AND your donation will be matched 100%!!!
  • If you haven’t read this post called Let’s Discuss…Punctuation (Periods and Question Marks)…PLEASE go read it and tell all the other women in your life about it.  Since I wrote this post, I can’t tell you the number of emails I’ve received from women telling me how  “switching over their punctuation products” has changed their lives.   Really.  Women who have lived with daily, constant pain who DON’T HAVE PAIN ANYMORE.  At all.  Wow.  I love all the emails I get…but those emails have made me turn back flips.  Please take the time to read this.
  • Heidi wanted me to be sure and tell you about a Free Preschool Bible Curriculum at ABC Jesus Loves Me.  Take a look!
  • If you’re getting ready to have a baby…know someone who is…or have a need to purchase baby gifts for anyone ever, you have to sign up for a chance to win a $250 gift card from Babyuniverse.com.   Click on the button below, enter your email address and you’re in.  Hurry…you only have until October 3 to be entered in this drawing!

I’d love to hear more from folks who’ve used the Party in my Pants pads. I’d love to switch to cheaper products but am so scared of this being a yucky experience…I am a cloth diapering mama so I’m used to washing loads of diapers…I’ve just gotten very used to pads and tampons.

i have not used the party in my pants product but i have used another company’s product and i loved them! they were so much more comfortble and the mess was not what i had feared. it actually was less!! yes sir i mean it!i threw them in a diaper pail (a separate one, not really with the diaps) and washed them as i do cloth diapers. no problem! i will not go back to traditional pads or tampons becuz these are more comfy and not a big mess at all.
