I think it is so important for even boys to know how to cook and care for a home. My hubby does that last part well. Why should they grow up, be bachelors for awhile eating only top ramen and living in a pig stye, then when they get married and their dear wife is away on a lovely ladies retreat, she comes home to find the house a disaster and all the kids had to eat was cereal and mac and cheese...I've heard that story many times...I knew I wouldn't come home to a disaster and for that I'm thankful.
