Yes, I’m in the process of researching this right now actually. It is my understanding that Hamilton Beach crock pots do not contain lead. I’ll keep researching and will post more about this soon!

Just wondering if anyone heard the news, I guess about 1 1/2 yrs ago, about crock pots leaching lead into food!! I just read a comment about that and googled it and it doesn’t look good. Any suggestions or comments?

My turkey is resting before I carve it so I thought I’d take a rest too and put my feet up right now. Love your idea to make it ahead of time! I also made a new recipe I found for Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes. They taste great and I just have to reheat them tomorrow along with my turkey. I’ll let you know how they turn out. Looking forward to resting some and enjoying my extended family tomorrow!
