Hi Laura,
The second I saw your ebook I was instantly excited, and not just for the giveaway, either. I adore your blog, and would love to have your advice on gardening and canning. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win a copy!
Apryl
I’d love to learn about potatoes and canning!
I just started gardening, want to learn how to preserve and love the advice on your blog so I’d love to win a copy of your E-book!
Hi Laura,
I would love to win this ebook because I am so computer challenged that I really don’t know what an ebook is. I would like to know… and preserving food is something that I would love to learn more about! So… there you have it!
God Bless you and please pick me!
~Cynthia
Congratulations on finishing this book! I’ve learned SO much from your blog and e-books, but I need to learn more. I hope I’m a random winner!!!
I’ve planted my first garden this year and would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book.
I would love to have this book! I canned with my mom growing up and am embarking on my first round of ‘by myself adult canning’ this year! So far, I’m doing okay, but it would be great to have this reference.
Also, I can’t find a canning colander/strainer and would love any ideas you have on finding one. I’m rummaging like crazy and asking everyone, I’ve posted on craigslist as wanted to buy and am hopeful that somehow, somewhere I’ll get one before I need to can tomato juice!
Heather
Yay for you, Laura! That’s so exciting to have another book finished! :)
I’ve love to win, because despite the fact that I already own plenty of gardening and preserving books, one just can’t really have enough, can they? The more I can learn, the better!
Whoo Hoo! So excited about this book. I am doing my first garden this year and I am a bit overwhelmed with learning how to “put up” the garden.
Check out my attempt at putting up the green onions…

We put in a garden for the first time this year. It just keeps raining here in central Indiana and my garden just keeps growing!! Would love to win this!
We are trying to do more and more of our food local/in season and growing a large garden! I feel like I have a lot to learn about preserving it all!
This would be fantastic to win. With today’s economy (or any frugal economy)it would certainly be smart to do more preserving. Given I have an abundance of berries, tomato and pepper plants as well as herbs and hopes for more – well, your book would be a wonderful win!
I would love to win !
Lots of wonderful stuff in our
garden.This would be a great
help in learning how to preserve.
So my family can enjoy all year.
Wow…what a great giveaway! Right now money is definitely tight as we are preparing to go from a 2 person household to 3 and 2 incomes to one…yikes! I am so very excited about my recent purchase of a water bath canner and supplies and have already put up quite a bit, but would love more information. It is so hard to find good info on canning (info that you can count on and feel like I know it will work without making anyone sick). We are also planning on starting a garden next spring…and this book sounds like it would be wonderful!
Hooray. I need to get motivated and gain knowledge in exactly these areas. This year we are clearing our acre in preparation for actually using it to grow stuff starting next year. Yikes! I’m almost completely clueless and I need all the help I can get!
Rejoicing with you Laura! Congrats on finishing your ebook. Please sign me up on your contest. Thanks!
Laura,
I would love to have your advice on canning and preserving. I have learned so much from your posts on food and would love to learn more! Our garden is huge this year, praise the Lord! and I don’t want any of it to go to waste. Thank you!!!
I had some extra apples and decided to can applesauce today. I would love to learn how to do more then that

There are 30+ tomato plants in my backyard right now … I’m both in love with and terrified of canning. I need your help! Haha.
I think this would be fabulous!! I have a garden for the first time this year and I am really striving to use and preserve everything I can. I want to be able to provide for my family now so I could do it if I ever HAD to!
I would love to win this. Can’t wait to can and freeze out of my garden this year.
Ooooh, I’d love a copy of this book! My mom knows how to do this stuff…..but foolish me, I didn’t learn when I should have. Now I’m a new homemaker/mom and my mom’s a few thousand miles away. Help!
I would really love to have this e-book. Our garden needs much work! Thanks for putting this together.
I so need to read this. This is my first year planting a huge garden and I have no idea how to can or freeze my harvest!
I have been gardening for years, but a very small garden. We ate it all and never had any to put up. This year we have expanded into 2 gardens!! I could use this book to show me how to preserve my food. This will be a new thing for me. Thank you for the wonderful give a way.
I have only begun to peek into canning in my life and a how to book would be such a treat! I love the picture on the front!
~Cinnamon
I would love to win this! I can jam- but I am too scared to do anything else.
Wow! i would love to read this! We started doing some canning last year and pray we can do a lot this year!
This is our first year with a year-around garden and I just bought my first canner– now how to use it?? lol! I would LOVE this awesome book:)! Thank you so much for your blog – it has truly been a blessing to learn how to cook and prepare easy, wholesome foods for my family ( of 7 now! Baby boy finally arrived!!! )xo
I would love to win this ebook because I LOVE gardening and can’t stand buying inferior produce during the winter so it would be GREAT to learn how to preserve more!
This looks like a great e-book!
I would LOVE to win this book! I am new to gardening and need a few tips! I am brand-new to your website and I love it – I know I will be using it as a resource often!
I would love to win this book! I need some help!
I’m trying tomatoes in pots this year so I am new to gardening. Would love to have your book as a new resource.
I garden and have tons of canning jars. Though I usually end up freezing stuff in ziplocs. I’d love to check your ebook out!
Canning is one of those things I have never tried but would like to learn more about. This book might be the inspiration I need!
would love this
thanks
Looks like a great book. I could use some advice on canning.:)
This is my first time to your site. What perfect timing. Your book looks wonderful. I don’t know anything about gardening but last year we tried to plant one. Nothing grew. My hubby replanted the poor thing 3 times. We really have no idea what we’re doing and would love to learn. I’d like to have the kids do it with us so we can all learn together.
I’ve only canned once. Okay, I helped my mom can once. I would love to do it again…have no idea how.
Thanks for the giveaway.
I’d love to have your ebook because I’ve got 12 tomato plants and 40 green been plants in my garden that are not all going to make it into the mouths of my brood before winter!
I would LOVED this ebook because my 4 girlfriends and I all have gardens. We are getting together in July/August to teach ourselves how to can our harvest – I can’t wait! We all homeschool and we want to put some things up for winter to maybe make things a little easier during the school year (and save money – that is always nice!) This book would be so very helpful to us!
Thank you for offering it!
Donna
I’m new to your website and find it very inspiring. I have a small garden and would love to preserve more of what is grown, rather thatn giving all the extra away (I’ll still give some away, but I want to be better prepared for the winter). Your new ebook on preserving sounds like it is just the information I need to accomplish this! Thank you.
I just found your blog a few days ago when searching for information about soaking grains….and I have been really blessed by your writing even in these short few days. I have 4 boys (age 6 and under) and it is such an encouragement to see another “sister” loving Jesus and raising boys to love Him too.
I hope you’ll consider me for the e-book. It looks great!(with 4 hungry boys, well 5 counting hubby, canning seems like the way to go)
I do admit I’d rather come to your house for a cup of something warm and some breakfast cake! (soaking flour for this right now)
Thanks for what you do. :)Looking forward to what you come up with next!
In Him,
Rebecca
I started canning a few years ago when i was living with my parents, didn’t do much freezing though. Maybe i need to do more
Ezzy
I would love to win a copy. We have finally planted a garden this year after several years without. I would love to be able to learn how to can. My Mother has promised me for years to teach/help me but I am still waiting. We freeze some but mostly we eat fresh. It would be a great blessing to store things for winter for my large family.
I’d love it because this year we planted our first garden and all we can see so far are weeds!
Thanks for writing something like this! I’m very curious to see what your preserving methods are. I already do a lot of canning and freezing and have tried my hand at the fermentation preservation method (I was totally shocked when the jars sealed themselves!). I’m always looking for tips and ideas. Thanks!
I am new at trying to do a better job in my homemaking skills. Up till now I have been trying to do everything the easiest possible. I want to be a better mom and wife and keep my family healthy. I would love your book to help me in my new journey. Thanks!
I have half succeeded at an organic garden 2 yrs ago and then failed miserably last year (daughter born in June), and this year hubby says I don’t have time – w/ the blog and the kids and all. I’m hoping next year I get to try again! What a great ebook idea!
