Laura,
God made you a natural to do something like this! I just missed out on the first half of the year not knowing you had started this great service that is now a blessing to so many of us. Thank you!
I found you through a link on Vanessa’s blog at http:nessamomof3.blogspot.com
Keep is coming sister! And, of course, HAPPY AVERSARY!

I found you through another blog. I think through Biblcalwomanhood, maybe Frugal Fridays. I have been reading for at least six months probably longer. Keep up the good work. Thanks and Happy Anniversary!

Thanks for blessing us with your life and all that goes with it! I was so glad to hear that God blessed you with gifts from your friends, knowing that you were going to share your celebration and bless us this week.
Are you sure there were no calories in that delicious cake I just ate?
I found your site through Biblical Womanhood’s Frugal Friday.

Hey Laura,
HAPPY AVERSARY! I didn’t realize that you were so new! God has definitely give you the gift to do this because you do it so well! I found you through Kim and I am so thankful for her and finding you through her!

To be honest, I can’t remember how I found you, but so glad I did! I love all of your ideas and your creativity. It is nice to know there are a few people out there who share in the same eating styles that I do.
Thank you for the delicious cake! I enjoyed mine for breakfast and was soooo hungry for more that I went back for another piece. What was so interesting was that the flavor had changed! :)
Thanks again!

I think I found you through orgjunkie. I loved that you homeschool, have all boys (I have 3), eat well, had both Nourishing Traditions AND The Irresistible Revolution in your sidebar, and are a Christian! I felt like I hit the jackpot and found an instant friend. Which is weird because you don’t know me back (I am blogless). Anyway, it feels like snuggling up in a big blanket every time I read your blog. So yeah, I am cozied up reading and eating my cake. Yum! :)

I am pretty sure that I too found you through Biblical Womanhood. Pretty popular, huh? I haven’t been on here long, but you have encouraged and inspired me and I feel like you are a great friend…even though I typically lurk. :o) Happy Website/Blog-aversary and here’s too many more *as I raise my glass o’ (imaginary) chocolate milk (great with your cake BTW) to salute you* :o)

Well, I don’t know how I found you but I am glad I did (possibly through Christian Woman Online?). It is nice to find someone who thinks similarly about food and family:)
Happy Webbiversary!

Laura,
Thank you for doing this for us! You bless me every time you blog. I have 2
other ladies at my church that are changing their eating habits and your
encouraging words have been such a great help- not to mention your recipes! We just signed up for a milk share yesterday and came home with 2 gallons each of milk with many inches on cream on top. The really wonderful thing was the people are christians also (6 kids- and homeschoolers:) They also sell grass raised beef, pigs , chicken, eggs, and cheese. We are so blessed – we feel like we hit the jackpot.
God Bless you!

I love you. And I think you are fabulous.

I found you through Money Saving Mom ( I think!) and have loved exploring your site! It’s awesome!

Guess I’m the loner that came over from Tammy’s Recipes – I even remember the post! It was your hamburger buns – I asked about freezing them in the comments and you e-mailed an answer. I was so tickled, especially when I found out you live so close! Now, good grief, I really need to get over and visit you. My current personal deadline is the craft fair next weekend, so maybe I’ll swing by sometime before Christmas? :>)

Hi, I found you during the Bloggy Carnival Giveaway week and I like what you have here. I’ll be sticking around. Happy Website-aversary.

Happy Blogoversary! I can’t exactly remember where I found you, but my guess is biblicalwomanhood or moneysavingmom. I’ve probably been lurking and trying recipes on my 5 kiddos for about 5 months.

Hi! I just found you today. I was doing a search for whole wheat cinnamon rolls. Thanks for the great recipe. I hope to try it soon. I really like your website, and will bookmark it to come back.

Hi! I found you thru your link on passionate homemaking. I’ve been reading for a few weeks now as I strive to incorporate soaking and some other new things into what was a relatively healthy diet for our family, but we’re trying to take it to a new level! We use Sonlight with our 3 kids (6, 5, and 3), too. So we know all about “Box Day.” :) Thanks for sharing all your research with us! Happy Blogiversary!!

I found your site while searching for a homemade pretzel recipe! I’m so glad I did. I have found SO many fantastic, tasty, healthy, good for you, recipes ever since! I have thoroughly enjoyed making new recipes and trying new things. I’ve made so many changes in my kitchen becauase of your suggestions and then including my own research. We’re back to “real” butter instead of tubs of yucky margarine/spread. We’re using only WW flours, honey, organic cane sugar. I’ve learned to make and can applesauce. I’ve made fabulous (only to your recipe) applesauce bread, pretzels and cinnamon rolls. I started out just wanting to make homemade preztels and have gotten SO much more. Plus, as a fellow Believer, I’ve found another connection to feed my spirit and soul as well. Receiving encouragement to nourish my family’s spirits and souls as well as filling their stomachs – now THAT is a true find!
Thanks for all you do and all that you share!
Debra

I’m a lurker here, I don’t ever comment but your blog fascinates me. I have to chime in today though because I found this blog in the WEIRDEST way. I was pondering with my sister on how in movies and on TV when a woman goes crazy or goes through something traumatic they’ll have her sobbing in a bathroom and cutting off all her hair. Actually, we were talking about how we can’t recall any real instances of this (other than Britney Spears) but we’ve seen it parodied many times (even before Britney). Anyway, I googled “crazy woman cutting her hair” joking around, not at all expecting to find anything useful, but instead I got this blog and your post about cutting your own hair! I’ve been reading every since!

Happy Anniversary!:)
I found your site through Menu Plan Mondays at Org Junkie. I love your menu plans! Now, I love your whole site! I don’t have much time to explore cyber space with 3 kids 4 and under, but I always come away feeling refreshed after reading your stuff. You are a great resource for healthy(and yummy) recipes and uplifting, edifying thoughts about stuff that is just so relevent to my life! I am thankful that the Lord has used you and your gifts and this site to minister to my heart! Thanks so much!!!

Yay for you! Congrats on one year- doesn’t it feel good? So glad that you’re still loving your site and blog (cause we all do!).
I think (but I really can’t remember) that I might have found you through Biblical Womanhood, or else through Tammy’s Recipes?
Thanks for my extra large slice of cake… delicious! :)

I think I found you through moneysavingmom. I was a link about making applesauce.
I love going fruit picking with the kids. I love daydreaming about having an orchard one day of my own–not sure about all that work to actually grow it–but it’s a daydream. So of course I clicked on your link to learn about preserving my future bounty! Then I started reading more of your blog. I saw that you have 4 boys. I just had my 4th boy. So I read more of your blog. I saw that you homeschool. I just started homeschooling my two oldest. So I read more of your blog. I tried some recipes. So I read more of your blog. I’m from Kansas. I visited Nebraska several summers as a kid. I think you get the idea. I feel connected to you–in a strange cyber way. I now love to check your blog daily and have been for the last few weeks.
Thanks for using your God given gifts to touch others!!!`

Congrats on reaching one year! I have really enjoyed your site. Thanks for all the work you do. And I think that I found you through Biblical Womanhood.

Hmm…I think I found your blog through Menu Plan Monday or Works for me Wednesday. Maybe 7 or 8 months ago?
Your desire to honor God is taking care of your home and family, your healthy recipes, and your humor keep me coming back. :) Keep up the good work!
I’ve also been impressed at your personal response when I’ve had a question about a recipe or something else.

I love the idea of cyber-cake — Calorie free…all natural; I think I’ll offer some when I email.
Of course, I found you when my daughter (your sister-in-law) Kari told me before you started. She, and sometimes I, continue to give your web address in email signatures. Aren’t Google and Links amazing? — how people found you (especially “crazy woman cutting her hair”).
I’ve been doing some healthy food for many years, but I always need and appreciate motivation and new ideas.
We always need to be encouraged to appreciate now and to be thankful (Gratituesday).
May you continue to go in the strength of the Lord as you encourage us, in many ways, to live lives worthy of God (from Ps. 71:16 and I Thes. 2:12).
