Our church service tonight was all about giving thanks. Everyone was given an opportunity to stand up and share what they were thankful for. It was so refreshing to hear from everyone that they are first thankful for salvation…for without it, nothing else that happens has any true meaning. My heart’s desire is that I would be a more greatful person so that all people may come to the Father through those who shine His light and salvation!

Amen! We need to be thankful for the Giver not just the gifts that He so graciously gives us. If we didn’t have the family, home, friends, etc. we would still have His Son who is the greatest gift we could ever have!

First and foremost – I am thankful for my Lord and Savior!!
I am thankful for my warm home full of children’s laughter, food in our bellies, good health, and the closeness we share as a family. Today -I am thankful for all that God has and continues to bless me with!!

I am thankful for good health! PTL!
And for family, friends, food, warmth, love, joy, peace, our senses that God gave us!, God’s creation, books, education, a home, animals, babies! Thankful that my niece is doing good after her first cleft lip surgery.
And sooo much more!

Our pastor said on Sunday, and challenged us to tell people FIRST Happy Thanksgiving. She said that when they respond Happy Thanksgiving, they MUST give thanks to God. And they don’t even realize it!

I thought afterwards, I hope they don’t say you too!
