Especially since we have begun receiving seed catalogs in the mail! I love the change in seasons but winter just seems to drag on and on. But before we know it spring will be here. I'm ready for some spring weather. I live in "sunny" Michigan and I put sunny in quotes because the weather motto here is "shades of grey from October 'till May". Yep, that's about right. It's cold here in winter, bitter cold. Cabin fever sets in around February and come April when the weather finally breaks, we all run outside like crazy people to soak up some rays. Otherwise, we are blessed with four distinct and glorious seasons. We also love to see our happy birds and squirrels that we feed all winter long. They bring a smile to our faces when they visit. I want all the seasons. Usually I'm sick of the cold by now, but this year, it's been different enough that winter has been much more bearable. It helps that the snow we received Saturday is already starting to melt away and our high tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70's. I'll take it and smile that spring is around the corner!
