Oh, I didn't know Laura! I'm praying for more D for you too. And sleep, no matter if the kids are well or ill, is ALWAYS something that is worthy of praise!

Oh I remember how wonderful it was when my little guy (now 8) finally was able to get enough relief from the itching to sleep through the night. Prior to that my hubbie and I had to take turns sleeping with him and holding his arms down otherwise the sheets would just be soaked in blood in the morning. My son's excema is definitely related to food allergies. He is allergic to dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, fish and nuts.

Glad he is feeling better!

Sweet sleep! YES! I'm so glad for all of you. Been there too my friend. I posted about it on my blog a LONG time ago and got suggestions from all over the place. Chiropractic care, food elimination diet, allergy desensitization, and the wonderful healing from God of the diary allergy, have helped Petey's little body find respite. We're down to nuts and occasionally corn and wheat. ~sigh. So I feel for you friend! But he's a lot better than he was - scratching 'til he bled. I'm going to pray for healing for Malachi.

I blogged about my love of books today. Which was appropriate because I had a blog tour book due today. :)

I'm happy to hear your son is getting some relief. I didn't go back and read about your endeavors to help him get better, but thought I might offer a little input from a "we're going thru the same thing" stand point. We have found that for Eli (our 2 year old), he has food allergies - mainly dairy and possibly tomatoes. We've been doing an elimination diet for several weeks now and within 5 days of taking him off eggs, soy, gluten and dairy, he was itch-free!!!! I love my itch-free baby, he's so much happier and he doesn't look like he's been rolling around in a prickly patch. We have gradually added back the soy, eggs and gluten over several weeks and haven't seen any reaction yet. At this point it seems that dairy is most likely his problem. We will wait a few more days and add that back and see what his reaction is. As far as tomatoes - they only make his face break out when he's had spaghetti or some other tomato sauce and it gets on his skin.

I do hope that whatever it is, you can get it figured out and help him get adequate relief. It's such a hard position to be in to not know how to make it better for them.

Aww, poor baby! My nephew is also plagued with that friggin eczema, so I know how horrible it is. Here's to a great, itch-free summer!

Poor baby! I hope you find the cause of his allergy soon. Thank God (literally!) that the sun seems to help. That's one good thing about summer!

My baby also has a skin disorder so I know how frustrating it can be as a mom to try to figure out what the root of it is.

Malachi is so adorable. I am glad he is feeling some relief.
