What a blessing to have a fruit tree! My grandma had an avocado tree in her back yard. Next year I’m going to attempt to have a garden. We’ll see if we can turn this brown thumbs down gal into 2 green thumbs up!

We have so far "put up" 18 quarts of green beans, and there is more "coming on" in the garden! The other day I had posted pictures on my little blog that I started called Blessings and Savings (-so many of you have given me inspiration to try my hand and join in at it too!)of broccoli, cucumbers, peppers, etc that we were harvesting out of the garden, and now we have beans to add to it too! I am very grateful for the Lord's blessings!

Oh, yummy! I can totally understand being grateful about that! We visited a farm the other day, and the family there had so many fruit trees- apples, pears, plums, figs, huckleberries, cherries, etc. It was amazing and it reaffirmed for me how much I would love to have fruit trees should we ever have a home of our own!

It’s my first week joining in- how fun! Thanks for the opportunity to share what we’re thankful for!

I wish I had been smarter about the trees I planted in our yard. I picked pretty and now I wish I had fresh fruit. Oh well, I’m sure with a growing family there will be another yard soon. I can’t wait until we live in a house we can have a garden.
