How fun! We took our kids to a Brave’s game in Atlanta once. The tickets were expensive…there was a drunk guy in front of us who wouldn’t shut up and who was wearing vulgar buttons on a hat and a vulgar tee-shirt. I don’t remember anything about the game except I came away broke and frustrated! Glad your experience was different!

What a blessing of a Christian role model! There are so many that I don’t want my children to look up to in the sports and entertainment world. It is a blessing to have such a fine Christian sports role model.

I gave the link for my blog, rather than just my Gratituesday. Hope you won’t forbid me from joining in. I’ll get it right next week Laura. My boys too have a Christian sports Hero. We worship with a graduate from Harding who played for the Eagles (that would be a football team, I know you’re not into sports), then with the Giants last year, he has a superbowl ring, and now he’s back with the Eagles. They look up to Tank he always has time for them!
