God’s Word from A to Z Scripture Memory CD Giveaway!

Abe and Liza Philips are excellent song writers, beautiful singers and well…they’re parents. They have a two year old and a four year old and they desire to help their children (and ours) learn scripture. They’ve put 26 scripture verses (one for every letter of the alphabet) to song. Each of the songs has its own unique tune and wow are they catchy! It’s amazing how quickly your child can memorize scripture when they’re singing the Word!
In addition to Abe and Liza singing each of the verses, the CD includes their children quoting the scripture. It is absolutely adorable and it’s proof that even the tiniest of kids can memorize scripture!
My own boys are now 5 (and a half, he will tell you), 8, 10 and 13. Not so little anymore. When Abe and Liza sent us a complementary copy of their CD for our review I was a little bit concerned that most of my boys would feel like they were “too big for it”. Nonetheless, without telling the kids what it was, I put the CD in one night after tucking them into bed. At least I thought I tucked them into bed. It wasn’t long before I could hear evidence of the fact that my boys were no longer “tucked in for the night”. Nope. They were all four (yes even the big guys) up dancing around their room. I peeked in to see if they were goofing off…making fun of the CD. Nope. They were all four (yes even the big guys) dancing to the music, singing along already and having a good ol’ time.
Shucks, how could I resist joining in for that? And so I did (even though my dancing skills are insanely scary).
The next day I asked the boys what they thought of the God’s Word from A to Z CD….
Asa (13): Oh yeah…it’s cool.
Justus (10): It’s really cute!
Elias (8): Where is it? Can we listen to it again?
Malachi (5) (and a half): Yeah, can we?
And so we did. We have listened to it now over and over. It doesn’t get old. My kids are now singing scripture all day long. Big kids or not, they love this CD!
The timing of this giveaway could not be more perfect! You will not believe how wonderful God’s Word from A to Z scripture memory CD is…and how wonderfully it goes along with Learn Your Letters, Learn to Serve Curriculum Kit! (Not all of the verses used in the kit are the same as those used on the CD, but no matter!) This CD is a great supplement to anything you could be teaching your kids about the Bible. I very highly recommend it!

Oh, I know my boys would love this! Their favorite bedtime listening at present is their AWANA CDs, their Suzuki violin CD, and the local Christian radio station. This CD sounds like it’s right up their alley, even if they are 9 and 6 (and 3/4, as HE’LL tell YOU!) :)
