  1. I’d love to win your book!!!

  2. Oh, I would just love, love, love to win this cookbook. Since my son was diagnosed with ADD and some other learning disabilities we have tried to cut out white flour and sugar from our diet, instead of medicating him. Anyway- I am always looking for new recipes to make without all the yucky stuff.
    Have a great week.

  6. Sharon says:

I’d love to enter, too, please! :)
I’m really striving to feed my family healthier foods, especially snacks.
I already said no more to white bread. I go for my raw fruits and veggies, as well as more meatless meals in exchange for beans. Also, for my 3 year old, I no longer get him fruit snacks, but the fruit leather/strips-in the ORGANIC section! Much better.

Thanks for the contest offer. Have a good one!

  7. Amy says:

I would LOVE to have this book. I love to cook and bake for my family. I make really yummy homemade stuff, but the more I read your blog the more I hear “the good mom voice” telling me I should make way for more whole wheat flour and less sugar in our home! Thanks!

  8. Marie says:

I would love to win this e-book. Recently my family has had to cut out a lot due to the fact that we’re dealing with eczema and allergies.
P.S. Do you prefer rapadura over sucanat?

  9. Ruth, PA says:

I would love to win this ebook. I have had a very hard time finding healthy treat recipes and know this book would be a blessing to my family!
    Ruth, PA

  10. Amy says:

I would LOVE to win this!!! We are gradually trying to incorporate more healthy foods into our diet. Sweets, however, is my weakness…anything healthier would be awesome! :-)

  12. Babsi says:

OH! Please pick me! I’d love to win your ebook! I always need ideas for making healthful treats.. especially the sweets.
    Thanks !
    Babsi

  13. Cindy says:

Thanks for the chance to win! I like to add the white whole wheat flour as much as I can to things, and decrease butter where possible. I usually put in less sugar than the recipe calls for. I’d love to have recipes that are more exact than my approximations!

  14. Gabi says:

I would LOVE to win your book!!

  15. Suezque says:

Yes! Yes! Yes! :-) We have been trying a lot of your “unprocessed” snacks, and just this last Friday I had to totally give up soda (diet included)…

  16. mtmommy says:

How fun!!! Pick me…Pick me… I have been saving each of your posts that is a “healthy treat” in my reader… We are trying to slowly move toward a non processed, whole food, better eating in general sort of life style!!! Your tips and cooking with your fam is a great encouragement on a daily basis! thanks ;-)

  17. Colleen Beebe says:

I would love to win your book. Sugar has been my downfall, but we have been trying more whole foods as a family, I just keep serving the veggies at dinner, and our rule is “one bite to be polite”, I believe after many, many bites, my kids will find some veggies they like!!!

  18. Diane says:

It would be wonderful to win this book. I try to “adjust” unhealthy favorites to make my husband happy, but some new ideas would be wonderful. A friend told me of your website last week, so I am excited to check in often. Thank you!

  19. Sheri Graham says:

I would LOVE to win your ebook! I have had fun trying some of your recipes…they are so good! It is kind of a joke around here about my “healthy” cooking. I am trying to find some really GOOD recipes that are healthy, so my husband doesn’t come home with cookies from the store because he wants something “good”!

I just recently wrote an ebook about all the baby steps I have taken to improve the health of my family. I can’t believe how much you can accomplish by just taking small steps at a time! You can find this book on my ebooks page on my website. It is called “Baby Steps to Better Health”.

Again…I have so enjoyed your website and look forward to keeping up with your blog! Blessings!

  20. Emily C says:

Ooh, this would be heaven sent. I just found out I’m expecting again and I especially try to be careful about processed food intake while pregnant.

If only I didn’t have such a voracious sweet tooth.

  21. Dovey says:

I would really learn a lot from this book. We eat very healthy, but I don’t do a lot of baking because I’m not good with substitutions. I would love to see a lot of your great ideas! The monkey bread recipe looked great! I can’t wait to try it. Please enter me.

  22. Hope Ware says:

We LOVE books with healthy recipes. Our forray into healthy eating began several years ago. I watched my mother stuggle with intestinal related illness all through her 50′s. I was having very painful acid reflux several evenings each month. I was in my late 30′s at the time. It was time to make a change now!

I read several books, looked at our budget, got rid of all white flour, hydrogenated oils, and unnecessary sugar in our diet. I began to make EVERYTHING from scratch. We found sources for locally produced organic produce and free range meat. Our grocery budget went up only slightly.

We have focused each year on a new fascet of healthy eating. The first year it was white flour. I bought a grain mill and began making all of our bread. The next year it was refined sugar. We joined a whole foods co-op and began purchasing organic oats, beans, and grain in large quantities.

I’m now 43 years old. We have 3 sons (soon to be 4 any day now). I rarely have indigestion. And my sons now tell all their friends about the dangers of high fructose corn syrup! I cannot say enough about how good we feel by eating better and spending our time taking long walks as a family.

Our children now tell their friends of the dangers of high fructose corn syrup!

Please enter me in the drawing.

  23. Meshellyn says:

Woohoo! What a great giveaway :) I’m awfully horrible about healthy snack foods and now that my Baby Girl is starting to eat foods that are on my own plate, I’m needing to get better… much better! I just don’t think ice cream and oreos will cut it, and I only want the best for her… which includes a healthy momma too!

  24. Mrs. Team S says:

That looks like such a great eBook! We have a couple of children that react horribly to white sugar and we are trying to find healthy alternatives and still have some treats! :)

Thank you for entering my name. Have a blessed day!

  25. Kathey says:

Hi, I would be very interested in this e-book.
Trying to make healthier meals for my family,
especiall my 10 year old who is autistic. He does not do well with processed or alot of sugar.
Great site. I am enjoying it.
    Kahtey

  26. Sandra says:

I switched to grinding wheat exclusively 2 years ago. We are also eating whole foods every meal, but it has been hard to find some really good desserts to replace the old ones. We use rapadura and honey for sweeteners, but no one else I know does. This could be just what I need.

  27. Kelly says:

This is such a hard thing for me to do: switch out the white stuff for the good stuff!! Any recipe help would be a blessing!! Your site is scrumptious! I am learning alot!!
    Blessings!!

  28. Bethany says:

I am trying to switch to whole grains and unprocessed foods, but my family is already addicted to sugar and white flour. This book would help me TONS with making some tempting cookies that will be better for my family.

  29. Narelle says:

Hi! I too would love to win your book! I am on the beginning of the journey to cook/bake healthier….am now making our own granola….cookies…bread…always glad for more recipes!

  30. I have a healthy cooking blog and I’m on a search for healthy, no sugar, whole grain recipes! I hope you pick me!!!!!!!!! http://whatscooking4us.blogspot.com

  31. Lara says:

I would love to win your book. Dh is a diabetic so we have altered our eating a lot. We eat no refined flour or sugar. One change we made is to eat creamed cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes. We blend it and mix it with a small amount of cream cheese and butter, salt it and viola! Delicious!

  32. Carrie says:

I would love to win this e-book. I love snacking. And my husband likes to take snacks with him to work and I would like to be able to make and send some healthier treats. :-)

  33. Maureen says:

I would love this as we’ve avoided a lot of the “yummy” stuff since I’m trying to pretty much avoid white flour. We try to buy as much stuff fresh as possible – I think it is typically tastier that way which means my boys will have a better shot at liking it. Thanks!!

  34. Kerry says:

Sounds like a great book! Please count me in the contest.

    Thanks!

  35. mama says:

I’d like to enter the draw. Just found your website!

  36. Sarah says:

What a great book!!! We’ve been milling our bread and such, but we’re just now getting into the “overhaul” — you know, you come to the line between “eating healthier” and “lifestyle change.” Yeah… that’s us… and I just gave up coffee (I’ve already apologized to my family, let me tell you!). As a family, we love spending time in the kitchen together, and I’d love a new — healthier! — selection of recipes to try. Thanks for hosting this contest!

  37. Kirstin says:

I would love to win this….

  38. Kayla says:

I just found your blog through Biblical Womanhood. The first post I saw was your giveaway. It’s actually ironic, as I’ve been trying to rethink my children’s diet. My middle child seems to have some issues that I’ve begun to wonder if a change in his diet might help. I pray I am blessed enough to receive your book & change our diets. All of ours, not just my children. Thank you for this opportunity.

  39. Cindy says:

I would love to win this. I just downloaded your other books. Very helpful for our large family.
    Thanks
    Cindy
