After I posted the story of how Matt and I met and started datingPatti suggested that maybe we could all share the story of how we met and began dating our mate.  Great idea!

I would love to hear your stories!  And well…with Valentine’s Day coming up…what better time than this to remind ourselves of WHY we chose to spend our lives with the ones we love.

Start writing down your Love Story…and on Saturday, Feb. 7…we can all meet up here with Mr. Linky. (Wonder if he has a love story?  I mean…is there a Mrs. Linky?  A bunch of Little Linkys running around?  Hmm…)

Spread the news.  Grab the Share Your Love Story banner for your site.  Make plans to join us here on Saturday, Feb. 7 to share your love story!

P.S.  If you don’t have a blog, but would like to share your story, write it and send it to me via email (laura@heavenlyhomemakers.com) .  I’ll put your story on a page here at Heavenly Homemakers and link it up too so that everyone can read your story!

  1. Is it permissible to link to an older post? I’ve already posted a how we met story, though I like to share it.

There are many types of love. I encourage you to see a movie called “Love Actually” as a family movie for Valentine’s Day.

I felt God’s power of love when my son Ian was born. Nothing ever came close to the intense love I felt for my baby. Even though he is grown and married now, I still feel the bond and will forever carry that intense love for him in my heart.
