Malachi is STILL putting the “th” sound into words that really only need the “f” sound. It’s so cute. I’ll never say the word “ditherent” the right way again. Hey, sometimes it’s good to be ditherent. God calls us to be ditherent, does he not?
Anyway…Lindsay is hosting a carnival where we can share nutritious meals that can easily be throzen, ehem, frozen. Check out her site today as a great resource for healthy meals we can make ahead of time, freeze, and pull out when we need something convenient to eat!
My two favorite freezer meals are:
and
Both are easy to make…both are family friendly…both are healthy and use whole ingredients. And now…I’m going over to Lindsay’s to see what everyone else has to share. Because I could use some new and ditherent ideas for threezer meals. :)

Ah, neat! Thanks for telling us! ;-)
I’m going to Lindsay’s too, but I just want to let your other readers know — both of these recipes are delicous! I know because we’ve tried them and they appear regularly on our menu. My family only eats half of the recipe, so I split it up – half gets baked for a meal and the other half goes in the freezer for those days that don’t go as planned!
Happy Cooking & Freezing!
I always look in “mazagines” for recipes. And my kids love “aminal” crackers for snacks!
Your son’s speech pattern is exactly opposite of my 5 yr old and 3 yr old…they use the “f” sound in place of “th”, which neither of them can say without considerable effort and certainly not naturally. Isn’t that funny how kids are different?
Your recipes sound wonderful. Thanks for sharing!
THose look really yummy and just my family’s style.
Thanks for participating Laura! I have tried the cheesy beef bake and we enjoyed it. Thanks!
I make enchiladas all the time- I never thought to freeze them. Thanks for the post!
Thanks for the “thantastic” recipes!!
The Cheesy Beef and Rice sounds yummy. I’m hoping to make it this week and see how my boys like it. Thanks for all of your healthy recipes and encouragement!
Thanks for these recipes! I’m collecting easy recipes for a particularly chaotic time in my life so this couldn’t be better timing. Thanks again!
