I made these today with ww flour, wheat bran, and rolled oats. And decreased the turbinado sugar to 1/2 cup (didn't have the type of sugar the recipe called for)...it was still a little too sweet for me (I prefer dark chocolate) so next time I will just do 1/4 cup sugar. The taste and texture was just like a regular brownie, I couldn't believe it. Very very good! Thank you for the recipe.

Sorry for any confusion...sucanat and rapadura are one and the same, just under different names. I used to think that sucanat was more processed, so I was always using rapadura. Then I learned that they are made the exact same way and that sucanat is less expensive!! My older recipes call for rapadura because I didn't know better at that time!

oooh yummy :) ! I think I make these for my beloved :)
I dont have any whipping cream but maybe I'll just use some of your faboulous chocolate syrup :D it's healthy right ;) ?
( For our syrup I whisked in a bit of arrowroot powder and stirred a bit longer - it's a wonderfully gloopy thickness :D )

I am just wondering. What depicts when you use sucanat and/or when you use rapadura? They are both brown type sugars so I was just wondering.

I order rapadura through Azure Standard. I am a part their health food coop...but you can order off of their website without being in a coop!

This looks delicious! :) I love how you incorporated the berries! I noticed that you use rapadura. Where do you buy that at?
