DrinkBands Giveaway and Discount

It is a problem every year at Christmas when all the family gets together. Kids and adults alike drink from a cup or glass, then set it down somewhere and we all forget whose is whose. Therefore, we go through tons of cups and glasses, and end up having to wash them constantly. We’ve tried multiple ideas for keeping our glasses straight. Sometimes they’ve worked okay, sometimes they haven’t.

This year? I’m packing my DrinkBands to take along. After all, they have worked great at our house since we started using them on a daily basis. Surely they’ll work at Christmas with lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins too. Yes, that’s what we’ll be going for this year!

My glass is always the one with the pink DrinkBand, thank you very much. The set has nine bands – all different colors – that fit great around a glass or cup. Seeing the band you selected on your cup is a great way to identify your drink right away – cutting down on glass/cup washing, not to mention germ sharing when you accidentally grab the wrong cup.

DrinkBands are super handy, and would make a great stocking stuffer this Christmas. (If you can wait that long. You may actually need to break them out before Thanksgiving!)  They are inexpensive, and if you usually use disposable cups during a holiday meal get-together, then in the long run, these will save you money…not to mention a lot of waste!

Interested in winning a set of DrinkBands? You have two chances to win a set of the 18 pack Drinkbands today. Leave a comment on this post for a chance to win. I will draw two random winners on Monday, October 29. Be watching for a post stating the winners as you will be responsible for contacting me if your name is chosen.

This would be an awesome thing to have! And what a great way to cut down on waste even if you are using disposables.

I’d love these! My kids are always leaving their cups around the house and then getting new ones because they can’t remember whose is whose.

We just use colored rubber bands around our glasses – it accomplishes the same thing and is cheaper than buying special bands! Also, you don’t mind throwing them away and starting over with a new one when they get grubby (which they will do quickly if you have a preschooler at your house!)

P.S. By the way, we found a whole bag of pink, purple, and blue rubber bands at Wal-mart!

These would be great any time of the year. We try to set our glasses in designated spots to remember who’s is who’s, but still get confused sometimes!

I need these! My kids have like 29 cups on the counter at the end of the day because no one can remember what one they used last time!

Oh how these would make holidays a little simpler around here :) We usually have anywhere from 10 to 20 (more kids than adults)and I am always asking “who’s drink is this?” :)

These would be SO nice! In our family of 8 (now 7, except when my married sister comes back to visit and we expand to 10), we are constantly either washing glasses or throwing away paper cups because we confused whose was whose. I was actually just thinking about checking into some drink bands this week!

Great idea. If I don’t win I think I will dig out all those old plastic braclets the kids got a couple of years ago (livestrong type) and use those. Would be great for my college daughter, so the girls in her apt can remember whose glass is theirs and cut down on washing dishes.

WOW, my engineering husband is always coming up with great ideas. When I told him the problem of too many dirty cups, he told me to use colored rubber bands. This is basically the same idea, but much more fun!

Especially over the summer, I have neighbor kids in and out of my house wanting a drink all day. I tried writing letters of the alphabet on disposable cups, and telling everyone to remember their letter that day, but it didn’t work. Then I bought cheap plastic cups from Walmart and wrote the name of each kid on one cup with a permanent marker. Worked better, but still not great.

Drink Bands are the answer. I would love to win a set.

I have the suction cup kind, but they are so much fun to play with that the kids end up loosing them so they aren’t much use in telling apart cups! I would love to try these!

I help lead our church nursery ministry. A little bit ago a mom dropped her daughter off with something similar to these on her child’s cup. Right now we label the kids cups and bottles with masking tape…a sticky mess if it goes through the dishwasher too many times. This is such a great idea. I would love these for home, but would be a great addition to our nursery as well.

Would love to win some drink bands! We just recently said goodbye to all our sippy cups… which for a long time helped us know what cup belonged to who! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

I would love to try these. We have 20 people when all our local family get together which is often and glasses are always being hidden in “their spot” but people always end up losing them and we run out of glasses.

we just found out our son is allergic to several chemicals in plastics and we are trying to change out everything to glass or safe options so these would be perfect since you can’t give each child a different color of plastic cup anymore

What a big relief these would be for when my entire set of in-laws (uncles, cousins, parents) visit every summer. There are hardly enough glasses to go around, so we can’t “waste” a single one. And how could we if we used these? We’d always know whose was whose…

These would definitely be super handy to have around! I envision sippy cups with drink bands… now we’ll never have to guess who’s is who’s! And with four children age 4 and under, there’s plenty of drink confusion!

These seem much more user friendly for families with small children than the charms and other drink id systems I’ve seen out there. Also great for playdates when some kids have very similar cups!

I’m a very frugal mom, so I decided to gather up all the bands like these from around the house that we have collected over the years and nobody wears to make my own set. Now, we don’t use these yet since we use plastic cups for the wee ones still, but I think I just might break them out when our relatives are here at Christmas time. I choose a green one and have had it on a glass for awhile now. I have left it on the glass when I put it in the dishwasher and it seems fine so far. I’m not sure if the constant heat from the water might break down the rubber though. I don’t heat dry the dishes, so hopefully that will help. I could always use more, though, so thanks!

We currently use colored rubber bands on the kids’ cups every day to keep them straight…bet these would be WAY more durable than a flimsy rubber band that sometimes flies off:-)! Would use these daily if I won!
