Coconut Oil
By
I’ve had several people ask me where to find good quality coconut oil…
I highly recommend Wilderness Family Naturals. I get many great products from this company…and I love them all!
Coconut Oil from Wilderness Family Naturals is going to cost more than what you might find at a grocery store, because it is EXCELLENT quality. It has many health benefits and it tastes YUMMY!!
FYI: If you want your coconut oil to taste like coconuts, buy the Extra Virgin Version (say that five times fast)….
If you DON’T want your coconut oil to taste like coconuts, buy the Expeller Pressed Version. It hardly has a flavor at all, but it is still high quality.
Okay, that’s my info-mercial. :)

Hello……I am just reading how coconut oil is soooo good for you. What do you think of Nutiva’s quality? They claim it’s organic, exta version, cold pressed, not refined, deodorized or bleached. Thanks!

I have a question for you about the coconut oil… I tried to put it in some pumpkin pancakes and of course it got solid again. Is there a way to avoid that? Would palm oil be better to use for that?

I think I would try palm oil. It should work a little better!

I’ve had the same problem with my baked goods, but then I realized that
the batter hardened up when I added cold ingredients (which makes
sense, since it’s solid at room temperature). I think the key is to use
ingredients that are warm at least to room temperature.
