Can I make this in the morning, let it rise and leave it several hours before baking it in the refrigerator? I like to complete my meals in the morning as afternoons are crazy when the kids get home with activities and homework. Thanks.

Yum, yum, yum! This one is so tasty, my kids didn't even ask for ketchup...they asked for seconds!

Thanks for keeping recipes and instructions simple, Laura. I am more willing to try them and am so thrilled when they turn out.

yeah im just getting back to writing this, but it was not like i expected it to be. I havent gotten around to trying again though. It was very tasty and i think that the problem was with the flour i used. i cant wait to be able to try this again!

Ok, my 1st go at this, I'm not so sure... :-( my dough was never "smooth and elastic"... Now its 30 minutes into the 1st "cover and let rise" phase, and its not really doin much! I'm scared, lol. This is not a good day to try something new, I just realized, because my husband is wanting to take the kids to the high school football playoffs, and this won't be done until like, time to GO. Lol, I guess we'll be taking it with us, but I hope it turns out yummy(ish), because if it doesn't I will have to try to make it again tomoro, and again and again until I get it right!! It sounds really good with italian sausage, mushrooms, purple onions, and olives!!! Thanks for one of my 1st pregnancy cravings!!

I served it with sauce - it was perfect! I also made a small one alongside the big one for my husband to take to work for lunch...it's in the freezer now - I baked it already, then let it cool about 20 minutes - then froze it. I can let you know how it turned out! I did it just like the recipe - but I think next time I might add some veggies - red bell peppers, onions, maybe even spinach and chopped carrots?
