Question #2…

May 10, 2008

If you’ve been waiting on pins and needles (in all your spare time) for the reason I posted last week’s question

I’m going to need you to wait patiently for just a bit longer.  I still don’t have all of the ingredients I need yet and I want to make it the right way…and take pictures to show you.

But have no fear…it’s something that will include both vanilla…and chocolate:)

So what I discovered by posting that question, is that it was a really fun way to get to know you better.  So I believe I’ll be asking you questions like this more often.

(Hey, if I can share stories like THIS one with you….so that you know WAY too much about me….surely I’m entitled to a few details about you, right?!)

So, even though it’s not nearly as exciting as talking about chocolate and vanilla…here’s today’s question……

Spring…or Fall?

This one’s hard, but I have to go with fall for FOOTBALL season!

    Fall, absolutely.
All of my chidren and I were born in the fall. We were married in the fall in the smokey mountains.
I grew up in Vermont and fall there is so incrdeibly beautiful and picturesque.
I love the mild days and sweater weather nights. And of course, it’s harvest time.
    Fall, for sure.

I love Spring with the planting of new flowers and plants, thunderstorms, and fresh air, but I think I have to go with Fall as well. I love football season, the release from terribly HOT summer days, and the crispness of the air and the leaves. The only thing about Spring, though, that I don’t like is the WIND. All the rest is pretty awesome, too. :)

Talley said it absoutely perfect. I love the green that Spring brings! I also LOVE my football! Tough question.

spring for the promise of new life and the perfect weather is so encouraging. ( i do agree about the horrible wind though- especially since i wear contacts and live in a dusty desert- not fun for the eyes)

but i also love the way fall smells- and for crisp leaves

  9. Lenetta says:

I love each season (which is a bonus, living in Nebraska!) and spring is so pretty with its reminders of new life. I’m gonna have to go with fall, too. I convinced my farmer and his farming family to have an October wedding and it was beautiful with pumpkins, gourds, wheat and corn - such a reminder of God’s goodness to us.

Spring, for sure… I especially love the new little flowers, baby animals and birds, and warmer weather!

  11. Brea in Texas says:

Fall!! I’m in Texas, so we don’t have much of a winter, so we all get a little bummed when it starts to warm up so soon (we hit 96 degrees in MARCH this year), but I do so love when it starts to cool down. There’s nothing like that first Northern (cold front) that blows in. :)

But I also love when everything starts to get green again. Hmmm … This question is harder than I thought! :)

It depends on what part of the country I am in. In OR I loved fall. It is so pretty there in the fall. Now I live in OK and I think spring is the best.

  13. Heather says:

Fall, definitely! Pretty leaves, cooling weather, and camping! In the Spring, things are just getting ready to get hot again, and I have enough of that living in GA!
