The breakfast one would be really helpful since I basically eat cereal every morning :-) It would also be nice to have more creative ways to eat veggies! I would love these books!

These books would be great as we are trying to eat healthier. I also cook a big breakfast every weekday, so I’d love new breakfast recipes!

I think the breakfast one would be a big help to me. I tend to get stuck in a rut when it comes to preparing breakfasts. Thanks!

  5. Heather G says:

These would be helpful in so many ways! The fruit & veggie one would help me get my family (& myself!) to eat more veggies. The breakfast one would help me come up with a variety of things to fix for my boys. I think I’m already on your email list, but I’ll sign up again just to be sure.

  6. Chandra says:

I would especially love the breakfast book, I try and give my kids three food groups every morning but all too often that consists of canned fruit, milk, and dry cereal or a frozen pancake! We need to branch out and get healthier! I’m also needing to add more fruits and veggies to my OWN diet, and would love some creative ways to add them to our daily menu! (Do you have any hints for getting HUSBANDS to eat their veggies?! ;) )

  7. Sweetpeas says:

I’m constantly looking for ways to add vegetables to my kids’ (and my) diet! And I’ve been trying to get away from breakfast cereal, but haven’t had as much success as I’d like. I’d love to win these ebooks!! (I’m already subscribed to your newsletter).

  8. MaryBeth says:

They both sound great to me… a mom trying to do a better job of feeding her family healthy foods.

    May 11th, 2008 at 8:49 pm

  9. Amy says:

I’m already enjoying your newsletter. Both books sound great, but the fruits and veggies book would be really helpful. I fix a wide variety of main dish meals, but I struggle with side dishes. Corn, green beans, peas… corn green beans, peas…

    May 11th, 2008 at 9:44 pm

  10. Donna says:

Please put my name in the hat! I love stuffing fruits and veggies in my crew! And….DH is trying to lose weight so it would be PERFECT timing, since I’ve got him WILLING to eat more healthy!!!!

The Breakfast Book would be a giant blessing! I am not a morning person and breakfast is my WORST glich in our eating! It would be great to have more breakfast ideas to give me a swift kick out of the poptart box!

And I would love to sign up for your newsletter but I’m such a goofball- I can’t figure it out. Would someone care to post instructions please? Sorry I’m so green!;-) It’s probably real simple and I’m just overlooking one little button.

Plus I will post a link on my blog to here!

Thanks for the Giveaway Laura! Good luck ladies!

    May 11th, 2008 at 10:37 pm

  12. Meshellyn says:

These books would both be great! I love the breakfast one as we’re already stuck in a rut of eating frozen waffles everyday, and my daughter is only 12 months old. I need some new ideas fast! And for the fruits and veggies e-book, well I love those foods and I’d love some new recipes to introduce to my family! Thanks for this giveaway!

    May 11th, 2008 at 11:30 pm

  13. Lenetta says:

The baby and I are not so much morning people, so breakfast is usually attended by the captain. Cap’n Crunch. Yikes.

Hubby always over-plants the garden and I have to scramble to get things cooked and preserved, so new ideas on how to use up our bounty are so very welcome.

I am working on signing up for the newsletter - I didn’t even know there were google groups! Thanks, Laura!

    May 12th, 2008 at 6:17 am

  14. Kelly says:

As a mom to five under six; ANY breakfast ideas beyond cereal or toast would be great! The veggie one sounds really interesting as well. I already enjoy your newsletter. Thanks! Kelly

    May 12th, 2008 at 7:27 am

  15. Bethany says:

I have always struggled with breakfast, sometimes not getting to anything until lunch time. My eldest won’t touch fruit and veggies with a ten foot pole. These books would be so helpful. Thanks for the chance to win.
    I already enjoy the newsletter.

    May 12th, 2008 at 7:38 am

  16. Sonshine says:

I struggle with getting my kids to eat veggies and fruits, so I think that ebook might give me some help in that area!

As for the breakfast one…I always love finding new recipes for breakfast to try. Over the last few months, I have been trying to get out of the habit of falling back to a cold cereal and toast breakfast every day. :)

    May 12th, 2008 at 8:01 am

  17. Brea in Texas says:

We are BIG breakfast fans around here, and I’m always looking for new, fun stuff in the morning! And we love our fruits and veggies, too, and I always love finding new ways to incorporate them into our meals. These ebooks sound super cool.

  18. Marla says:

I am working on getting more fruits & vegetables into my daily diet and think the Veggie and fruit ebook would be very helpful to me. I also am always looking for new healthy breakfasts for myself and my 8 yr old daughter. Thanks! Marla

    May 12th, 2008 at 8:34 am

  19. Colleen Beebe says:

Both of these books look great!! My children and I are in a rut for breakfast foods, they seem to only enjoy frozen waffles-at least I am trying to get some kind of fruit along with their waffles, but I’m sure the is not too much nutrional value to those frozen waffles. Also, my son struggles with eating vegetables-I’m thinking it is the texture of the veggies. But I will keep trying, and I would love some encouragement in helping him and my daughter eat more veggies.

    May 12th, 2008 at 8:45 am

  20. Maureen says:

These look right up my alley as I love breakfast and serve it for any meal so more breakfast ideas would be great. As for the fruits and veggies since we try t oserve the boys one green and one orange (or red) at every meal we need some new fresh ideas.

    Thanks so much,
    Maureen

    May 12th, 2008 at 8:57 am

  21. Joy says:

I already eat breakfast outside the box–with the exception of Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted cereal. But I’m a little tired of our ideas and need some fresh ones.

And most of our fruits and veggies aren’t any kind of recipes–just plain fruite or salad.

By the way you’d probably be interested in this study a while back about boxed cereals:

    www.lymeadehealth.blogspot.com/2007/11/eating-cereal-boxes-for-breakfast.html

–the test showed the box is healthier than the cereal!

    Thanks for the contest!

  22. Kirstin says:

BOth books sound wonderful and as we journey on the quest for healthier eating any help is wonderful.

    May 12th, 2008 at 11:00 am

  23. Joy @ Five J's says:

These ebooks would be wonderful for me. Why? I hardly eat any fruits or veggies, but would love to figure out a way to eat more.

And second, I’ve been stuck in the breakfast box for quite a while now, although with our “3 Moms” adventure, I think I’m beginning to crawl out of the box a little at a time.

I’ve also signed up for your newsletter, so please enter me twice.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  24. Melinda says:

I can use all the help I can get when it comes to getting my family to eat more fruits and veggies. Both books sound great.

I also already recieve your newsletter.

  25. Cindy says:

Pick me! Pick me! I love making breakfast, but with three little ones, I rarely have time besides the weekends. And I love fruits and vegetables…we eat a lot of raw fruits and vegetables, but I’d be interested in recipes too.

    May 12th, 2008 at 8:53 pm

  26. Marie says:

Sounds like a great giveaway, I would love either book, but mostly the breakfast one. It seems like we’re always eating the same thing-cereal! I’m not sure, but I think I already signed up for the newsletter.

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:21 pm

  27. Cindy says:

Both books would be very helpful here. Our family is trying very hard to make serious changes in our eating habits. As a mom that has very limited exposure to positive role models in that area, I struggle with fruits and veggies the most. I love ‘em, but the hubbie and kids need a creative approach.

  29. Catherine says:

    Hi Laura!

The breakfast book sounds really good. We’ve started having a special breakfast on Saturday mornings and I’d love some new ideas.

Any ideas on how to get more veggies into my children would be helpful too.

I will put a blurb on my blog about this giveaway, although I don’t get many readers.

I’ve also been meaning to sign up for the newsletter, so this was a good nudge for me.

Thanks for this wonderful ministry you have - even touching the life a mum on the other side of the world!

  30. Heather says:

Hi, I’ve been popping in every now and then for a little while and every time I come back I think, “I must come here more often”.

I’m getting really disheartened when I read how much sugar is in the cereal that I am supposed to be giving my kids for breakfast every day! I NEED NEW IDEAS!!! And as for fruit and veg, I am doing well if I can get anything into them. Your books would be wonderful to give me some fresh ideas to keep my kids away from highly processed sugary cereals and other such hideous additions to our food.

I have linked to your site from our blog and joined the newsletter:) looking forward to becoming more regular at your site.

    May 13th, 2008 at 7:03 am

  31. Tonya says:

Both of these E-books would be great blessings for us. We are struggling to learn to eat more healthily and adding more fruits and veggies into our diet. Also, breakfast is my least favorite meal to fix because I get so tired of fixing the same thing every day and having my kids not eat it! It would be nice to have some new ideas and possibly find things they would love!
    Love your site :)

  32. Sharmista says:

We’re trying to change our breakfast habits and I need ideas! We’re eating oatmeal most days, but my poor family would be very blessed by new recipes. :-) And more fruits & veggies are always a good idea.

    May 13th, 2008 at 9:43 am

  33. Suezque says:

Well, my goal this month is to do more breakfast cooking (the first goal to accomplish is actually getting up early enough to have time to cook breakfast!- or find make ahead recipes that can just be reheated…) LOL! :-) But buying breakfast out is really starting to eat into our budget- so I’ve got to stop it! I thought I signed up for your newsletter, but have never gotten one…

The breakfast book would be nice. I need some ideas for breakfast. I am so tired of my kids eating cereal and toast. I think they need something healthy to start the day. We could also use the fruits and veggies ebook. I find it hard to get fruits and veggies into my children. Some new recipes may be just what I need.

The fruits & veggies one sounds extremely good! I starred the fruit tips one in Google Reader (so I could come back to it) because I wanted to refer back to it.

My husband & I actually always cook breakfast for our nine children, one because it’s more affordable & two because it’s healthier.
We are always trying to find new healthy ways to serve up breakfast & I would love the chance to try out the recipes and maybe even make then with the kids for a blog entry or two on my blog.
