have known about re-freezing meat for quite some time. was told by a butcher. with the caveat that it only be done once. in other words, you cannot freeze-thaw-feeze-thaw-freeze-thaw, etc.
i am concerned, however, about your use of the words “flash freeze” and would appreciate your explaining them. it has always been my understanding that one cannot truly “flash freeze” meat and/or veggies at home – that it takes a special freezer with extremely low temperatures that quickly freezes food. your home freezer simply is not capable of producing the low temperatures needed to “flash freeze” food. it will indeed freeze food – but it will take hours to do so.
