Beautiful Things Happen When a Woman Trusts God (a giveaway!)
ByYou know that’s true, don’t you? Do you believe it?
Do you believe that beautiful things can happen when you trust our father God to take care of you?
The Bible promises that it’s true.
Think about the times you haven’t trusted God. The times you’ve been fearful, hesitant, worried, anxious, sad and nervous. Those weren’t such fun times, huh? There’s not a lot of beauty in my life when I choose to be stuck in a state of fear, sadness and worry.
Oh, but the times I let it go. The times I surrender. The times I humble myself. The times I trust.
That is when beautiful things can happen.
That is when God can use me. That is when I see His glory. That is when I know that God’s power is at work in my life.
We know that worrying doesn’t add a single hour to our lives. Why then do we still do it? Letting go and trusting God is such a struggle. I wish it wasn’t.
I recently read Sheila Walsh’s latest book, Beautiful Things Happen When a Woman Trusts God. Sheila shares her story in which she struggled with deep depression, the intense need to please others…and the beautiful peace she found when she learned to trust God.

The book will speak to your heart. The book will help you learn how to let go of fear and worry…and simply trust the One who is worthy of our trust. The book will help you find the beauty God can create in your life when you trust Him.
I just so happen to have FIVE copies of Beautiful Things Happen When a Woman Trusts God to share with you! Please leave a comment on this post letting me know you’re interested in winning one of those copies. I’ll draw five random winners on Monday, August 30.
This giveaway is now closed…thanks!

I bet I could use a copy of this.
My household’s at a year and a half and counting of uncertain change and upheaval, and it’s kind of exhausting trying to figure out how to deal with it.

What a great reminder in a time of great transitions for our family: hubby quitting job (main source of income) to attend college full time for another degree, me starting back to working teaching at a Montessori school full time for the first time in 3 years, & peanut starting her first school experience in the same Montessori school. What an exciting time of stepping out to do what we love, yet challenging to trust that He can and will meet our needs! Thanks!
