Back to School With Swagbucks
By
Once again, I must sing the praises of Swagbucks. I was able to use the Amazon cards I’d earned from Swagbucks to order a big portion of our school books this year…for free. Wow is that ever nice!
Swagbucks is simply a search engine that gives you “swagbucks” on many of your online searches. There’s no catch. I’ve been using them for about a year and a half now and haven’t had a lick of trouble. I installed the Swagbucks toolbar to make my swag searches easier. I do a ton of online searches everyday anyway…why not earn money while I’m doing it? I almost always turn my swagbucks in for Amazon gift cards, but there are all kinds of other things you can exchange them for if you’re interested!
Right now they’re offering a Back to School Promotion for anyone who is new to the program. Just by signing up you’ll receive 30 swagbucks…but if you enter the code: BackToSchool you’ll receive a bonus 40 swagbucks to get you going (that’s 70 swagbucks!)!
Take advantage of this promotion, sign up and start earning Swagbucks!!! See what you can save up to spend for free Christmas gifts this year!! :)

We have been soooooo grateful that we learned about Swagbucks through you! We were saving our Amazon gift cards for a new wheat grinder, but just couldn’t wait til we had the total price, so we used what we had and only paid for half! What an incredible deal! No extra work but we got half a new nutrimill completely free! Swagbucks made it possible for us to get this when we otherwise would not have been able to. Thanks for the referral!

I have a question about amazon gift cards, can you use more than one? For example, say my total is $35 and I have five $5 cards, could I use them all and then pay the $10 or would I only be able to use one card?

Yes, you can use as many as you want at one time. And, if say you use only $3.00 of a five dollar card…the next time you buy something through Amazon it will apply your other $2 because it remembers it in your account as credit!!! :)

I have two amazon gift cards (from swagbucks) and I am unable to use them for some of my books. (even though I found them on amazon) Do you know why this is and how to avoid it? =) Thanks, I have enough for two more gift cards, but hesitate to buy them when I can’t use them. I know it must be me. Help this mamma spend her swagbucks!!!=0)

Here’s some information I found on the Swagbucks site that may help with how to use the amazon cards (worded better than I could come up with):
Redeeming your Amazon.com gift card is easy:
1.Visit http://www.amazon.com or visit affiliate web site http://www.endless.com.
2.Select the items you want and add them to your Shopping Cart.
3.When you have found the items you want, click on the Proceed to Checkout button.
You can claim your gift card by entering its claim code number directly on the order form.
Not ready to use it yet?
Just add the gift card funds to your account so they’ll be there when you’re ready!
1.Go to Your Account at http://www.amazon.com.
2.Click “Apply a gift card to your account” under “Payment Settings”.
3.Sign in with your e-mail address and password.
4.Enter your claim code and click “Redeem Now”. Your funds will automatically be applied to your next order.
For more information on using your gift card, visit http://www.amazon.com/help/gc.
If that doesn’t help, let me know!

I’m in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, so maybe I just got in on this too late due to time difference. At the sign up page, it’s saying that the BackToSchool code has expired. I tried “googling” it (am I supposed to be “swagging” it now?), but can’t find a current code. Could someone help me with that?
Thanks!

Oh yeah…I just looked it up and the extra back to school code did expire last night. Bummer. You still get the original 30 swagbucks though.

Hi Laura,
When I left the above reply, I checked the box that says “notify me of followup comments via email.” Shortly after it posted, I received an email from “laura@heavenlyhomemakers.com” to “confirm my subscription.” There’s a link in it I’m supposed to click. Is that legitimate?
