Another Weekend to Remember Marriage Conference Giveaway!

I’m so happy to see that several of you have signed up to attend the Weekend to Remember Conference! Remember, you can go for half price if you sign up through our Heavenly Homemakers Group. This doesn’t mean we all have to go to the conference together – this is just a great program that Family Life has set up to make it possible for more couples to be able to attend the conference, and a great way for you and your spouse to get a nice chunk of money knocked off the price of this great weekend. Matt and I attended the conference in March and loved it. You can read more about our experience here.
Well, if half off the price is good…winning a chance to go for free is even better! Because several of you have signed up to go to the Weekend to Remember conference through our Heavenly Homemakers Group, we’ve now “earned” a FREE pass for one couple. I love how hard Family Life works to make sure couples have the opportunity to attend their awesome conference. Giving us half price tickets, and even sending some free passes our way – these people are dedicated to blessing marriages!
If you’re worried that you’d be at the Weekend to Remember conference and have to sit in small groups and bear your soul to strangers or stand up and confess your marriage weaknesses in front of crowds of people – worry no longer. You’ll be in a room full of people, but the only person you have to talk to and share with is your spouse. In fact, when we attended the conference, our speaker had us look to the people on our left and on our right and say, “We don’t have to talk to you!” It was humerous but the point was made – we’re here to work on our own marriages; we aren’t obligated to be chummy or personal with anyone but the person we came with.
Matt and I loved our time at Weekend to Remember, and we know that you will too. It’s a great time of sharing and growing together.

Here’s our entry to win a Weekend to Remember conference. We have been once before right after we got married, but it was the worst experience ever which I will contribute to being pregnant. I had just found out right before we had gone and boy were those hormones out of control!! We would love to try it again and hopefully have as good of an experience as everybody else.
