Another Happy Swagbucks Promotion
ByIf you couldn’t tell from past posts…I LOVE Swagbucks. I’ve just been informed that Swagbucks is offering yet another opportunity to earn bonus bucks…and make it easier too!
If you aren’t familiar with what Swagbucks is…
It is a search engine just like google except that when you do online searches with Swagbucks…you earn points that can be exchanged for gifts or gift cards. My personal favorite is turning 450 Swagbucks into a $5 Amazon gift card. With my Amazon gift cards I’ve purchased lots of our school books and even some groceries. FREE to me!!! Now I’m saving up for Christmas gifts!
I know some of you have been skeptical. I was skeptical at first too. I’ve been using Swagbucks for months and I PROMISE you that there is NO CATCH. There’s nothing complicated about it or fishy. It’s just a search engine and it has a few perks. Cool.
I have found it easiest to download the Swagbucks toolbar right onto my computer. That way when I’m doing an online search (which of course happens several times every day) I can just punch it right into the toolbar search box. Simple!
And according to the latest email I received… “The new toolbar is not only compatible with Safari, Firefox and IE but also has lots of quick links to all aspects of Swag Nation, as well as fun add-on’s like games and email notifiers. And on top of all of this you can log into your Swag account and track your SB’s all from the toolbar!” This month they are releasing a special swag code every day on the new tool bar to help you earn even more swagbucks.
If you are new to Swagbucks and want to give them a try, go sign up here and you’ll automatically earn your first Swagbucks!
If you have questions please feel free to email me!

Maybe I am doing this wrong, but I keep trying to sign up and it won’t let me use your code. Was it only good for yesterday?

Hmm, the code should be good until Sept. 10. All I know is that it’s case sensetive so make sure you’re putting “heavenlyswag” in all lowercase letters. Let me know if you need more help!

Hi Laura –
I’ve copied and pasted the code and it keeps telling me that it’s not a valid swag code. Any thoughts?

Hey, thanks for this post, I randomly stu, bled across your blog a few nights ago, then spent about an hour reading lots of your posts (blog stalker I know!) and after reading this post joined up to Swagbucks! – Such a great idea, I joined last night and have earned 7 points already – I think I’ll probably save my points and use them around Christmas for presents! I posted about the site on my blog and linked back here, hope you don’t mind :)

Hi Laura, I’ve actually been on the fence about Swagbucks mostly because I don’t like installing toolbars on my computer – but your post has convinced me to try it. Sounds like a great way to safe up for Christmas presents.
Thanks for the info. I’m going to post about it on my blog as well.

Do you mean 450 bucks for an Amazon card? That’s what I noticed on their site.

Yes, when I wrote this several months ago, it was only 45. Now they’ve added a zero to the end of everything, so it takes 450 swagbucks now for a $5 giftcard! BUT, we earn 10 at a time instead of just 1…so it works out the same way!

Sweet…thanks for clarifying. I can’t wait to earn my first gift card.

So, do they ever run different “rates” for their amazon cards? I signed up and have nearly enough for a $5 card. But I think I saw something recently that made me think they run “sales” on those. So I am wondering if it’s best to save them all up and buy gift cards when on sale…? Do swagbucks expire? Is there any reason I shouldn’t just keep compiling them and order a bunch of gift cards all at once?
Thanks!

As far as I have seen, the amazon cards are always the same price (450 for $5 card).
You can only purchase two cards a day, no matter which card. I don’t think they ever expire.
Because you can only purchase two in a day, you don’t want to compile too many of them without redeeming them for prizes. Also, once you redeem swagbucks for a gift card, it takes several days for them to activate your gift card, so you want to be sure and plan ahead for that.
