Another Giveaway!!! Gather Up the Whole Family!
BySmart people are all around us. (Yes, I’m talking about you.) I love how everyone has unique talents and I love watching to see how they use their talents.
One particular smart person, Jen, has used her talents to create a wonderfully awesome tool for organizing, listing and keeping track of prayer requests called Legacy Prayer Journals. The journals come in a kit…with over 20 templates that you can print out as many times as you need to and use how ever you want to. Read all the details about the Legacy Prayer Journals here.
The really, really cool thing about using these templates is that you can use them to create a scrapbook of prayer for your family. I love that you can snuggle up together as a family to fill in the pages…then put the pages into a scrapbook with pictures and embellishments if you want to.
I also love that the pages are loaded with scripture and key words to get your minds thinking about spiritual needs and praises.
Jen is SO NICE because she SENT ME a Legacy Prayer Journal to use with my family!!! YAY for me!
And YAY for YOU because she sent me TWO more Legacy Prayer Journal template disks for this giveaway!!! Isn’t that exciting?! You will love using these with your family!
Leave a comment on this post letting us know why you would be excited to win one of these Legacy Prayer Journals. On Wednesday morning…I’ll randomly draw TWO winners!
Wow, this giveaway thing is fun!

This is so neat. I’ve never seen anything like it. I would love to get one of these one day if I don’t win.

These look SO neat! I would love to win one of these! I’ve done a prayer journal in the past, but it was just a regular journal, nothing so fancy!

I would love to win a prayer journal. I can’t stand telling someone I will pray for them on a specific date or time and then realizing I forgot about it. I also am at a loss sometimes as to what specifically to pray. They are beautiful journals and I would love to win one. IF I don’t win , I may just ask for one for Christmas!! Thanks

This is an awesome idea. We’ve been looking for creative ways to pray together as a family more.

I think these are very creative! I would love to use with my family.

Right now, my family uses a piece of paper where we jot down prayer requests…it’s taped to the side of our entertainment center so we can see it and try to use when doing our family prayer time. I’d like to be able to try something new.

I’ve checked out Jen’s prayer journals several times. I love them!!
I would love to make one with the boys for my husband to take to work. He’s a boat captain, who lives aboard a boat three weeks out of a month. He would use a journal like this each day as he prays.
Over the years of our marriage his prayer life has encouraged me so much. Because he’s gone so much I pray by myself or with the kids. But when he walks in the door he’ll stop us in the middle of the day for us to pray together. He insists we pray each night together before we go to sleep, he does the same with the boys. He’s a true leader by example.

What a great idea to encourage our family’s prayer life!

When we got married, I gave my husband a “legacy prayer journal” of sorts that I had made with my prayers for him and our relationship while we were dating and engaged! My mom kept a similar journal for both my sister and I while we were growing up, and I would love to use this beautiful legacy journal for our family!

These are absolutely WONDERFUL!!! My husband and I have just started a prayer service program with our bible fellowship. We have committed to pray 2 hours a week, 20 minutes a day, 6 days a week (we pray on Sunday too but we do it with our fellowship). I would love to have a physical book to assist in recording the items we are praying for. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.

This is really neat. When we got married, Richard and Elaine Walker from Lubbock, Tx–long time missionaries and spiritual giants (in my perspective)–sent us a notebook to keep a journal of our family prayers. It was such a simple and sweet idea. I could see this scrapbookable version being a special gift for couples who are embarking in a new venture–getting married, having a baby, or who just want to refocus their spiritual lives as a family. I know I feel the enormous responsibility of raising my child to love the Lord. Thanks for telling us about this. It makes me think about what we could be doing as a couple to better focus our family on the Lord.

A prayer journal – how perfect! I would love to own a few of these to give to my prayer group that meets once a month. My husband and I are small group leaders at our church and I meet once a month with the gals of the group for prayer. Several of them have not had a time of focused prayer before so giving them a journal would be so, so sweet. Thanks for the opportunity to join in for the giveaway.

I love the idea of seeing my children’s precious faces as I pray for them!

Hi, Laura, I don’t know if you remember me, I came to your house to help you move in, and again one time for small group. Someone I know from Alaska shared a link to your blog and I said, Hey, I know that person! Anyway, I’ve really enjoyed looking through your website and purchasing some of your e-books! Your family seemed so neat when we visited and I am excited to read about your commitment to healthful eating. That is a passion of mine. We are coming to York in a few weeks. I would love to talk to you more then and get to know you and your family better. I would also definately love to encorporate more prayer into our family life and to have a system that works.

i love this idea – we just got married (end of August) and i would love to journal and record what God is doing in our lives from the beginning.

I think these journals are beautiful and such a great way of keeping our prayers tangible. Sometimes it is easy to forget the ‘realness’ of the people or requests we are praying for….this would surely help with that! I would love to win one! Thanks again! :)

I’m always looking for new and creative ways to “do” devotions. And….I would love to (just once) win something. :)
Please sign me up as well!

How completely cool is that!?!? I love that you’re able to look back over the time to have a physical reminder of how God has moved and how you’ve bathed your children in prayer as well. Awesome idea.
I’d LOVE one!

I would love to have one of these to use for and with our family. I think it be so neat to have something permanent to use with the kids to help teach in the area of prayer and then to be bale to look back at it some years down the road and see how God worked in our lives. That they would also be able to see our hearts of prayer for them and our family. Thanks for the chance!

What a great thing! I used to have a picture prayer journal in college but once it filled I never moved on to a new one. I would love to pick up a prayer journal again and this one would be amazing! Thanks for offering it for whoever wins.

Very cool… I have many notebooks filled with my prayers, but it would be neat to have a prayer journal for our entire family! Thanks for the chance to win!!

What a neat prize!
I would love to use it to keep up with our prayers and how the Lord answers! I just told this crew that we need to start keeping more records of what God does for our family…and the more dependent we are on Him, the more He proves His faithfulness to us! I don’t want my children to forget His works!!!!!!!!

God’s been teaching me and my family so much about prayer lately. We’d really love to have this journal to record what He’s doing! Thank you!
